Sky Guppies are incredibly passive creatures- they possess no ability to fight off creatures that attack them outside of tasting incredibly bitter. They eat pollen from flowers and convert it into a glowing substance that they use to attract other Sky Guppies of a similar color! Hives form with Sky Guppies of similar color, and they move in small groups, taking on different roles within their 'hive.' Although, in rare circumstances, Sky Guppies of different colors may form a hive. Sky Guppies make homes inside of rotting trees and logs with woodpecker holes, and chew out tunnels and dens within as a group.

All Clans use this to their advantage. Most camps have a Sky Guppy colony to light up their homes during the night hours. Sky Guppy lights are said to ward away nightmares and Wraiths, and may be established along well-trodden paths or near dens with vulnerable cats such as kits and elders. Sky Guppies can also be crushed and used for temporary glow in the dark 'paint'.
