Feral Chacmas are EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.
Draak Chacma are a variant of the Chacma Baboon, warped by magic, gaining grotesque features and weak psychic abilities. These creatures have a unique long, downward-sloping face, three eyes, and huge canines. Unlike their normal cousins, Draak Chacma have large skinned wings akin to a bat or dragon, which is how they earn their name. They're found in just about every territory, sleeping atop steep hills, high cliffs, rocks, or in large trees, away from nocturnal predators.
The Draak Chacma usually live in social groups, called troops, which are composed of multiple adult males, adult females, and their children. They live in a dominance hierarchy, akin to wolves, having an alpha male that takes care of the troop and sires all of the offspring. Newly dominant males will often kill infants or young baboons sired by the previously dominant male. They are opportunistic omnivores, eating nearly anything they can get their hands on, and are extremely territorial and violet.
Despite their colorful fur, wings, and third eyes, one of the biggest difference between a Draak Chacma and a regular Chacma are their psychic abilities. As weak as their magical capabilities are, these creatures can peer into the minds of weaker creatures and read their thoughts, take control of their mind, and even communicate. They've also been observed as having mild telekinetic abilities, but only with small objects.
Having vibrant and colorful fur means that no two baboons often look the same, however, they mostly come in shades of blue and purples, with vibrant yellow or pink accents like eyes, claws, and wings.
Because of their constant migraines and territorial attitude, Clan cats generally stay clear of these baboons. However, there are tales from Elders that say if you eat it's third eye, you gain the same psychic abilities they had. This is untrue, of course, but it doesn't stop some arrogant Apprentices to try and take one down sometimes.
