"To find sanctuary within the waters-"
A sleek and playful group of ocean-dwelling cats, built with nimble paws and calm personalities. TideClan is the most creative of all the clans, crafting, weaving, and molding all sorts of interesting trinkets. They work hard and play harder! TideClan is relaxed and go-with-the-flow, and are typically a very non-aggressive clan. Despite their reputation as lazy and childish to the other Clans, TideClan is a caring, tight-knit family. They're known for having the most well crafted and beautiful dens, as well as their construction of fishing nets and spears.
TideClan is much cooler than the other clans, chilled by the winds that blow over the waters- however, their territory is still plenty comfortable and humid.
TideClan camp is a series of small, fortified islands that rests just off the coast of the Great Valley, made up of tall sea stacks and rocky, craggy dens that provide comfortable protection against the waves during bouts of rocky waters. While there are official dens, many cats prefer to lounge about on the sandy shore, or on the rocks that dot the shallows of the camp.
TideClan territory is primarily underwater! A stretch of coral reef dots the ocean along the shores, providing shelter and ample prey for these sea-faring cats. TideClan cats generally keep to the shores, as the coral keeps them safest. TideClan owns a small stretch of savanna, but it is rarely used, let alone defended. This bit of land is only used to hunt prey for cats that dislike seafood.
TideClanners possess Hydrokinesis, the ability to control all water to their liking. While kinesis is primarily used in combat, TideClanners use it for a variety of different tricks and games- such as making spouts or creating bubble rings underwater. Divers may use their kinesis to flush fish out of hiding spots or move heavy objects underwater! TideClanners are based on marine creatures. All TideClanners have fins along their backs, elbows, and tails- these fins have glowing spots that only reveal themselves underwater or in the dark, and can blink to communicate to their patrolmates! TideClanners also have barbels, and much like their fin markings, also glow in the dark.
TideClanners are capable of chirping and clicking to communicate with one another over large distances, or when underwater.
