Paddyquack are an unusual species of duck that is known for its unique trait of having lily pads and waterlilies growing from its body and it's particularly colorful plummage around it's tail and head. These plants seem to grow out of the duck's body, forming a floating garden that follows the bird wherever it goes. The lilypads and waterlilies are a stunning sight to behold, and they add to Paddyquack's already impressive beauty.
This bird is native to the waterways of all of Arcana, but it is found most abundantly in VerdureClan, due to the perfect conditions that allow their lily pads and flowers to grow.
Paddyquack are a social and gregarious bird, and it enjoys spending time with other members of its flock. It is an active and energetic duck, and it loves nothing more than swimming and diving through the cool waters of its home pond. Paddyquack are also known for its mating displays, in which males puff out their feathers and make loud calls to attract females. They're known for this distinctive call, which is a loud and repetitive "ka-ka-ka" sound. Paddyquack are smaller than most ducks- and make up for what they lack in size in speed. Most of the time, Paddyquack hide amongst the lily pad forests and sunbathe- but when threatened, these waterfowl can make a quick get-away.
