Farruners are PREY/EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.

Farrunners are small, furry, lizard-like creatures that make themselves home in the savannas of CoveyClan territory. They live in packs of around 3-8. Their fur is thin and as to prevent overheating beneath the harsh sun. The tips of their tails have rattles, and they bear long, colorful and prickly bristles as a fake warning to sky-borne animals that they are poisonous, even though they're not.
On occasion, lone Farrunners explore VerdureClan territory.
Farrunners are capable of reaching high speeds to outrun their prey, capable of outrunning cats on foot. They are both bipedal and quadruped, changing depending on how quickly they need to run. Being social pack animals, Farrunners work together to surround, corner, and eat their prey. Similar to hyenas, they tear at their meal while it is still alive. Their rattling tails are their means of communication with pack members, and are charged with magical energy. They have a few threat displays, such as rattling their tails and spitting to mimic a snake, rearing up onto their back legs to appear taller, and fanning out the spiky fur on their heads.

Most come in pale, sandy colors to blend in with their surroundings. Some have false eye markings along their pelts. They have longer, prickly hairs that range in colors from pink, red, yellow, and green.
Their presence is tricky for CoveyClan, as these lizards are a common occurrence. On their own, they are a reliable food source. However, in groups, they target and eat cats that have wandered too far out on their own. A saving grace is that they are incapable of climbing.
Their tail rattles are sought after as gifts, charms, and noisemakers.
