False Unicorns are EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.
VerdureClanners CAN be based on them.
False unicorns are small dark colored equines with a long singular curved horn chased with silver sprouting from their foreheads. They're not as elegant as their true counterparts, with large glossy eyes and the sharp teeth of a carnivore. They have small bodies but large heads and ears, harboring a body similar of a fawn rather than a full grown horse.
These creatures are found in plains and forests, wandering the land and not sticking to one territory or area.
False Unicorns are crazed, hateful creatures that live for violence. While they're not expressive creatures, it seems they truly take delight in causing pain and suffering to anything around it. They attack anything that moves, aiming for low blows and cowardly tactics just to watch wounded creatures bleed out and die. Not only that, but they're carnivores, and prefer to eat their prey alive. If something is already dead or dies while they're eating, they leave the body in search of something more lively. As they trod along, the air grows silent, as small prey animals know of it's nature and don't want to be targeted. Thankfully, False Unicorns are solitary creatures, but sometimes have been spotted in small families.
Like their more peaceful kin, False Unicorns also sport some magical abilities. Their horns are poisonous, causing full-body paralysis that can last up to three days when struck and, very rarely, heart failure. A fallen horn can be harvested to create the same effects as one attached to a living False Unicorn, being able to be crushed into a powder and used as that same paralyzing poison.
False Unicorns come mostly in solid shades of dark cool colors like blues, purples, and blacks, with a darker mane, head, and legs. Occasionally they might have light spotting or dapples on the haunches, but they're always very faint. Their eyes are usually a bright red or black, and their mouths often have dried blood caked on them.
To the Clan cats, False Unicorns are considered a bad omen and they actively avoid them if they're spotted, since they will move on eventually. The meat of a False Unicorn is considered exceptionally tasty, however, it is said to cause bad luck to those who feast on it's flesh.
