Made by Me Math Games

Students collaborated in groups of 3 or 4 to creatively design their own math game for others to play. They came up with a theme, rules that had to be followed, and how to win their game. The students applied what they were learning in math by creating math questions for players to answer in order to advance in the game. Students then wrote instructions that would be clear for others to play. They showed off their game at Sandston’s Math PTA night by inviting parents and community members to join in the fun.
