During this exciting cross curricular project, 5th grade scholars will collaborate to brainstorm and determine an object(s) to create and sell (at least 20 items) that connects to a chosen piece of literature.  5th grade scholars will collaborate to develop both production and marketing plans to sell their student created projects to scholars in grades K-3. Scholars will utilize both digital and tangible methods to advertise and sell their products. This could include using Adobe Express or Canva for digital menus and/or group-created banners or signs to display at their tables to attract customers.  Scholars will use library tickets as currency to purchase items.  Vendors will then be able to spend their hard-earned currency during an Ice Cream Social!  The Literary Festival will occur during LAMPS and be a schoolwide initiative.  Let’s Go Lions!!!
