Learning Experience
Filled with creativity and imagination, first graders participated in an adventure that seamlessly blended creativity, learning, and play. Students were engaged in the creation and designing of food trucks with menus and pricing. From tacos to ice cream, these young entrepreneurs showcased their creativity to their peers on Food Truck Festival day. At the festival, students were invited to visit each other’s trucks, to practice counting money, and to identify various coins, while supporting each other’s new businesses. In this playful project, first graders explored their imaginations and combined creativity with essential math skills.
