Mr. Corabi has been teaching in the School District of Philadelphia since September 1997 following his graduation from Temple University. Beginning his teaching career at Central East Middle School (later to be renamed Feltonville School of Arts and Sciences), Corabi taught there 13 years before joining the faculty of the Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush High School in the fall of 2010. It was the third year the school was open and the first with Health & Physical Education.

In 2017, he was awarded the prestigious Lindback Award for Distinguished Educators after being nominated by his colleagues at Rush Arts. That same year, he was awarded NE Times girls soccer coach of the year and had a book published based on some of his Health lessons. In 2022, he was given the Athletic Director of the Year award from the Philadelphia Coaches Association. Most recently, in 2023, he was awarded the Society of Health & Physical Educators Health teacher of the year and in Spring of 2024, the Heroes of Teaching Award from the National Liberty Museum.
