Hi!  If you're reading this page, you're likely a student or parent/guardian from the Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush.   Welcome to my website!  I've used a supplemental website to assist in teaching Health and Physical Education since 1999 so I hope it offers resources for you to learn independently.  Now about me!

I began my teaching career in the School District of Philadelphia in September 1997 after graduating when I was ranked #1 in the new teacher pool and was able to select 1st!

(To be fair, I was ranked 3rd out of almost 100 new teacher candidates but the #1 and #2 people took positions in other school Districts.)

I selected Central East Middle school which later changed it's name to Feltonville School for Arts and Sciences, and taught there for 13 years before interviewing and being site-selected to transfer to the Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush in September 2010, the school’s 3rd year of existence.   My primary roles at Rush Arts are Lead Health and Physical Education Instructor and school Athletic Director/Administrator.  In addition, Mr. Corabi is the Head Coach of Girls Soccer, Girls Softball, and Co-ed Bowling, oversees several student-run athletic clubs, and assists with various administrative tasks both for the school and for the District as a whole including website publishing, curriculum development, athletics tech support, and testing out and evaluating pilot programs for websites and attendance tracking for the Division of Athletics.

Mr. Corabi is proud that he has received several awards and recognition during his teaching career.  In 2017, he was awarded the prestigious Lindback Award for Distinguished Educators after being nominated by his colleagues at Rush Arts.   That same year, he was awarded NE Times girls soccer coach of the year and had a book published based on some of his Health lessons.  In June of 2022, Todd received the Philadelphia Coaches Association’s Athletic Director of the Year award.  Most Recently, in August 2023, Mr. Corabi was told he was awarded the Society of Health & Physical Education PA State Health Teacher of the Year.

Out of school, Mr. Corabi volunteers for an area youth group, coaches youth sports and enjoys spending time with his family down the shore including his wife, 3 children (two of them married), and his new granddaughter.
