One of the most popular videos EVER CREATED on pregnancy and the scientific processes involved in pregnancy is Life's Greatest Miracle from 2001. That video was the re-made sequel to the Emmy Award Winning classic 1991 documentary "Miracle of Life". At the time, it was the only video ever where fiber optic cameras literally went inside the human body to track the changes in development during the 40-week-long human pregnancy.
Since then, other agencies and institutions have mimicked or recreated the classic documentary and found out even more miraculous things going on during pregnancy. Most people associate the word "Miracle" with divine intervention. To some, they dislike the term due to this association. However, that is only 1 definition or reference. According to a Google search "Define Miracle", a Miracle can also be defined by a highly improbable or extraordinary event, development, or accomplishment that brings very welcome consequences. When you are ready to have a baby, that is truly the correct definition. There are SO MANY things that have to happen just right, for a new life to be formed, it is truly amazing any of us are actually here at all. As you scroll down on this page, you will find articles, images text, and videos directly related to the Biological, Scientific Process involved in creating and having a baby. There are other pages on this site devoted to prenatal care (care of baby during pregnancy) and parenting.
