Just a few Things to Do

NO MATTER WHAT IT IS, a sport, weight lifting, some sort of cardio such as walking, running, rollerblading, biking, or swimming,  or more intense things like mountain climbing, american ninja warrior style obstacle course, or CrossFit...EXERCISE and PHYSICAL ACTIVITY is great for everyone. You should certainly pick things you enjoy to do but if you need a few ideas, this page is for you

Focus on "the Plank"

Planks are one of a handful of exercises that fitness experts usually love for anyone.  They are not only a core exercise, they literally develop the core!  In addition, they can help build strength and endurance in the entire body!  The video to the left demonstrates and instructs how to do 2 different highly beneficial planks for beginners.  There are other videos on our YouTube playlist about planks as well for more advanced students.

is a video I made for my students explaining the several benefits of doing various push-ups.  It will help beginners and also explain how the push-up position is also a plank, leading to many other exercises beneficial to muscular strength, endurance and body toning
