Bullying

BULLYING

Bullying is a specific type of violence that is usually placed in the "Emotional" Violence category.

The word itself often creates images of children being picked on by bigger classmates but although the word seems "childish", it is anything but that.

Bullying can take several forms and have actions associated with them that are Physical, Verbal, electronic (cyber), written, nonverbal, psychological, or sexual.

Bullying, can lead to serious mental health challenges and emotional health issues.   Nobody should be the targets of people trying to physically or mentally hurt them.  Everyone has the RIGHT to feel safe.

Consider if you've ever had a role in bullying someone else and review what could be done differently to keep someone else safe while also not putting yourself in harm's way.
