In the Spring of 2020, some students from the Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush in Philadelphia, PA chose to do this project while at home due to COVID-19 closures and restrictions. It has been repeated each year since.
This project was created originally in November 2019 after I (Mr. Corabi) attended a presentation at the PSAHPERD (now known as Shape PA) Convention by Mr. Ferris Kelly from Ferderbar Elementary in the Neshaminy School District. The samples he used for his presentation are also included below and start with the word "sample".
