La imagen pintada de una mascarilla en la ventana es una manera de hacer visible y al mismo tiempo de ocultar algo. Tal vez eso que quiero comunicar, puede querer decir, yo estoy aquí, yo existo, y quiero que estes bien pero no te acerques. ¿Condición de vulnerabilidad en esta mirada, o de miedo? La idea de bajar las cortinas de los espacios restantes de la ventana acentúa esta situación . En tiempos de “normalidad” el confinamiento puede ser parte de mi rutina diaria y me viene bien, pero siempre con un horizonte de pequeños programas, de salidas, de encuentros reales y no la pesadilla que estamos viviendo. La mascarilla pintada es la representación de la convulsión y crisis sanitaria que vive Chile en estos instantes.

The painted image of a mask in the window is a way of making visible and at the same time hiding something. Maybe what I want to communicate, may mean, I am here, I exist, and I want you to be well but do not come near. A condition of vulnerability in this gaze, or of fear? The idea of ​​lowering the curtains of the remaining spaces of the window accentuates this situation. In times of "normal", confinement can be part of my daily routine and it suits me, but always with a horizon of small programs, outings, real encounters and not the nightmare we are living. The painted mask is the representation of the seizure and health crisis that Chile is experiencing at this time.
