A veces bala
y soy monumento y raya
Y concreto quemado
Y piedra ceniza
Y abrazo
Y pena
Y caballo de plaza seca.

Reading/performance of a poem from a red-lit window, for an invisible audience. The poem is based on the social movements started in October 2019 and on the route (symbolic and physical) to Plaza Dignidad, epicenter of the protests and symbol of the struggle that began at that time. The plaza today is "washed" in what appears to be a process of erasing and sanitizing a city that for a time contained the imprint of expressions linked to the movement.
Summer Omens
Of the horse downtown
Of the dresses and flags and red smoke
Of the black flags, as the new image of the blinded eyes
Witch visions and words and silences
And binary memories, fragmented and divided,
For being equal and unlike
The ears get filled with explosions that sometimes are a celebration
Sometimes bullets
Sometimes the echo of what will not be, or what already is
And all the silent but screaming words that gave voice to the walls
Bathe the route to the dry square
And those words that bathe and cover and scream also hurt
And hurt as a 100 kilos coat
Heavy to the shoulders if one decides to carry it alone
They also hurt because they are a freedom anthem
Also trapped text
and explosions of passion for what will be and what is not
I can feel the anger, and the fear and the paralysis of the one asleep
And the awakening
and the hunger
And the hunger
And the hunger
and the hunger for invention
For the third place
For the space of simultaneity
Where we can touch our skin
Yours, mine
With no fear
Where I am me, but also you
And I’m monument and marks
And burned concrete
And a stone of ashes
And an embrace
And sorrow
And a horse at the dry square.
