Shadowmoon

Shadowmoon Quinan

Shadowmoon is a Qualinesti Elf.  She earned her White Robes from the Tower of High Sorcery after seeking a life with more adventure than a life in Quolinost can provide.  She was tasked to follow a particular individual who was wanted in Haven for murder.  She caught up with him, but before she could effect a capture, he was killed by draconians.  Now, she is looking to recover some property of Chomsky, the gnome.  However, as she sought to gain the trust of the party she believed to be in possession of the stolen goods, they were all pulled into Ravenloft.  Now, she has discovered there may be a more fated purpose in store for her.  Since leaving the realm of Krynn, she has been incloser contact with her patron goddess, Solinari.

Durring her time in Ravenloft, she is bitten by the Wives of Bha'al.  They are monsterous vampires who serve at the will of Wilhelm Bha'al.

Upon returning to Krynn, Shadowmoon is overcome by the Vampiric curse of Bha'al's wives.  She turns, but uses her presence of mind to maintain some of her morality.  Thus she struggles against her Vampiric nature and tries to bend its power by shear force of her will.

During the Summer of 20 AC, Shadowmoon is involved with the fall of the Red Moon to help destroy the Tarrasque.  After the event, she is offered the Robes of Lunitari.  By accepting the Robes, she becomes an Aspect of the recently deceased God, Lunitari.  As a result, the God is reborn to the Heavens of Krynn and Shadowmoon becomes an Avatar and essential part of the newly risen God.  Hence forth, as a result of a song written by the Bard, Beryl the Wanderer, Shadowmoon is famously known as, "The Shade of the Moon." This is a reference to her vampiric nature and to her relationship to the Red Moon, Lunitari.
