Kenneth Uth Matar

Lord Kenneth Uth Matar

Kenneth is a Knight of the Rose, the highest order among the Solamnic Knights.  His Long whiskers require his constant attention while drinking in order to avoid their drenching.  He currently wears the armor and marks of the Rose.  He occasionally hides these when in hostile territory, but brandishes them in Haven and Solace.  He generally seems of good cheer, but has suffered great loss in his life.  His children, home and wife have all been destroyed by angry peasants: blaming him for the cataclysm.  It seems obvious that Kenneth is formidable in battle. Joined the party on the  8Th Day of Autumn’s Harvest, 7 AC:

-       Love interest of Caprica Whitestone of Haven

-       Highest Member of his Order in our area

-       Wealthy

-       Seems to live in Solace – rented home

-       Early 40s

-       Lord is a proper title

-       Family murdered, land taken

-       Escaped from execution to Solace

-       From Solanthus

-       Fell in love with Caprica

-       Fought the Death Knight Sir Sepien  with a passion and furry – seems personal

-       Has become more active in combat

-       Seems to have a bit of distrust for Skyleaf, probably doesn’t like his methods

-       Honorable

-       Lost his horse to battle against Howler, but fought with the passion of a true warrior of Kiri-Jolith

-       Has been acting oddly since our encounter with Kite and the Werewolves

-       Apparently has a sword which reacts to Giants… or at least Cloud Giants… as it glowed before we were attacked by the Giant Kite must have summoned

-       After our work for Sargonnas (aka Nuitari) he now has gained all of the powers of the undead.  Kenneth seems displeased.

-       It is possible that Kenneth may only be able to touch Caprica without harming her from the sheer force of his love for her.

-       Marries Caprica on 5th Day of Spring’s Dawn, 8 AC

- From 8 AC until 20 AC, Kenneth bares his shame (His undead aura granted by Sargonas is a personal problem for him) until one day he accidentally frightens some local children.  Out of fear, they run, screaming that a 'death knight' has attacked them.  He feels so shamed by this, he leaves Haven, much to Caprica's dismay.  While he promises to return to her once he is free of this curse, she fears he will die before ridding himself of his 'curse'.
