Starring the same actors of the previous season, except Rock Hudson and Ali MacGraw, now with the Opening featuring Emma Samms as the ultimate new Fallon, summing up 10 episodes. 1/118 - "THE AFTERMATH" ("CONSECUENCIAS")

Sammy Jo revela su plan: Rita va a sustituir a Krystle para que su tía deje de ser albacea del testamento de su padre. Those surviving the carnage of the bloody wedding massacre are separated and held at the palace in Moldavia to await an uncertain fate. The revolutionaries, Yuri and Warnick, have seized power and announce that King Galen is dead. A heavily wounded Luke dies in front of Steven: “I'm going to die, Steven. I know it. You know it. So let me just say what I'm going to say: Try not to forget me, what we had, too soon." "I'll never forget you. Never. Tell me you believe me." "I believe it." Blake confides to his son:

"I was wrong. I thought you'd be happier living by my values. That was wrong of me. I can see now your own values work as well for you as mine do for me." Krystle, imprisoned in a dank dungeon, has seen Galen alive. The women are told they will not be releases without meeting the terrorists' demands. In New York City, Sammy Jo reveals her plan: Rita is to impersonate Krystle in order to have her aunt removed as executrix of her father's will. While reading the newspaper, Fallon, suffering from amnesia, spots a picture of Miles Colby and is unsure why she is drawn to the name.

Blake paga 5 millones para liberar a Krystle y Alexis, y las familias vuelven por fin a Denver. Steven pronuncia un panegírico conmovedor en el funeral de Luke. Claudia le consuela y eso provoca la ira de Adam. Joel, el novio de Rita, director de cine y estafador, se ha entusiasmado con el plan para reemplazar a Krystle y el dinero que pueden ganar. Dominique se sorprende al ver que Alexis ya no está interesada en la lucha por la venta de Sumatra Timberlands:

"Siempre se te ha dado mejor chillar que escuchar" - le dice a Dominique con sarcasmo. Pero en realidad está más preocupada por Galen en Moldavia. Krystle se encuentra con Sammy Jo, que está redecorando el rancho Delta Rho y le exige más dinero de su fideicomiso. Michael rechaza la oferta de Blake para ayudarle a empezar una nueva vida en Denver. Fallon revela a Miles que sufre amnesia.

Blake pays $5 million for the release of Krystle and Alexis, and the families return to Denver from Moldavia. Steven delivers a moving eulogy at Luke's funeral. Claudia comforts him and incurs Adam's wrath. Rita's boyfriend Joel, a wheeler-dealer film director, is enthusiastic about Sammy Jo's impersonation plot and the money to be made. Dominique is stunned to find Alexis is no longer interested in fighting over the Sumatra Timberlands sale:

"You've always been better at screeching than listening" - she tells Dominique sarcastically. Alexis is preoccupied with worries about Galen in Moldavia. Krystle finds Sammy Jo redecorating Delta Rho Farms and demanding Krystle release more money from her trust. Michael rebuffs Blake's offer to help him begin life anew in Denver. Fallon tells Miles Colby she is suffering from amnesia.

3/120 - "THE CALIFORNIANS" ("LOS CALIFORNIANOS")

Después de una ausencia de 20 años, Blake recibe una visita de Jason Colby, que le propone que ambos magnates financien un oleoducto en colaboración. After a twenty-year absence, Blake receives a visit from Jason Colby. Jason proposes the two tycoons build a joint pipeline. Although reluctant to do business with Colby because of his past shady dealings, Blake needs Jason's tankers to move his oil out of China. Jason confides to his sister Constance that he is dying. Jeff is surprised to hear from his aunt Constance, who insists it is urgent he come to California. Psychic Justin Dehner helps in the search for Fallon, who remains in California with Miles. Dex is furious with Alexis's growing obsession with Galen. Michael shuts Amanda out of his life. Gordon Barrett, assistant undersecretary of state, questions Blake about the revolution in Moldavia. In New York, Joel and Sammy Jo convince Rita to undergo plastic surgery to complete her transformation into Krystle's double.

4/121 - "THE MAN" ("EL HOMBRE")

Jason concede a Blake una semana para que se decida sobre el tema del oleoducto. Jonathan Lake, miembro del departamento de estado, recuerda a Dominique que ya se conocían, de cuando le salvó la vida en París. Claudia se marcha a San Francisco para pensar en su relación con Adam. Alexis pide a Blake y Jason ayuda para rescatar a Galen: "Alexis, no puedo poner fuera de circulación a todo un país, ni siquiera a uno pequeño" - le dice Jason.

Cuando va a cabalgar con Miles, Fallon se sorprende al comprobar que es una excelente jinete. Usando como excusa un viaje de negocios, Adam improvisa una romántica reunión con Claudia en San Francisco. En L.A. Constance asombra a Jeff y enfurece a Jason al entregarle a su sobrino el 50% de las empresas Colby, valoradas en 500 millones. Cuando Krystle hace una inesperada visita a Sammy Jo, Rita, ahora convertida en doble de Krystle, se oculta en el dormitorio. Más tarde, comenta: "Krystle Carrington, va a ser difícil imitarla. No es una firma o dinero, es de carne y hueso. Dios mío, voy a hacerle justicia..."

Jason imposes a one-week deadline for Blake to decide on the pipeline proposition. Jonathan Lake of the State Department tells Dominique they've met before, when she saved his life in Paris. Claudia heads to San Francisco to think about her relationship with Adam. Alexis turns to both Blake and Jason for help in rescuing Galen: "Alexis, I can't put a whole country out of business, not ever a small one" - Jason says to her.

While riding with Miles, Fallon is surprised to learn she is an excellent horsewoman. Under the guise of a business trip, Adam tracks down Claudia for a romantic reunion in San Francisco. In Los Angeles, Constance Colby stuns Jeff - and enrages Jason - by awarding her nephew 50% of Colby Enterprises, worth over $500 million. When Krystle makes a surprise visit to Sammy Jo's apartment, Rita, who now appears to be Krystle's double following plastic surgery, hides in the bedroom. She later says: "Krystle Carrington, that's some act to follow. That's not just a signature or money. That's real flesh and blood. By God, I'm gonna do justice by her."

5/122 - "THE GOWN" ("EL VESTIDO")

Alexis descubre que Galen está vivo cuando le piden por él un rescate de 10 millones que deberá pagar a los revolucionarios moldavos. Harto de competir con el fantasma del rey, Dex promete ayudar a Alexis a completar la misión. Joel y Sammy Jo planean dormir con cloroformo a Krystle en el Baile de la Caridad y sustituirla con Rita. Sammy Jo consigue que la modista de Krystle le haga una copia del vestido que llevará esa noche. Convertido en socio de Jason, Jeff proyecta mudarse a California, donde cree que encontrará a Fallon. Adam y Claudia se casan en San Francisco. Krystle llega al apartamento cuando Rita practica su imitación y Joel la deja inconsciente y anuncia que Rita es ahora la nueva Sra. Carrington.

Alexis learns that Galen is alive and can be rescued if $10 million is smuggled into the Moldavian underground. Tired of competing with the king's ghost, Dex promises to help Alexis complete the mission. Joel and Sammy Jo plan to chloroform Krystle at the Charity Ball and have Rita take her place. Sammy Jo has Krystle's dressmaker duplicate the gown she'll wear that evening. Jeff, now Jason Colby's partner, plans to move to California, where he believes he'll find Fallon. Michael continues to shut Amanda out of his life. In San Francisco, Adam and Claudia are married. Krystle walks in on Rita as she's practicing her imitation. Joel knocks Krystle unconscious and announces that Rita is now the new Mrs. Blake Carrington.

Krystle recupera la conciencia y se da cuenta de que la han encerrado en un desván de Delta Rho mientras Rita la sustituye en la mansión. Dex es tomado como rehén y torturado en Moldavia. Un furioso Blake descubre que Adam le mintió al cancelar un viaje de negocios para casarse con Claudia, y saca a Adam de su testamento. Claudia se entera preocupada de que Michael ha sido nombrado director de La Mirada: "Blake, estoy harta de que me traten así..." - se queja Claudia. "De dejarme pisar por los Carrington." La familia Colby asiste a una fiesta de Blake para anunciar la construcción del oleoducto Carrington-Colby.

Krystle regains consciousness and finds herself locked in the attic at Delta Rho Farms while Rita is impersonating her at the mansion. Dex is caught and tortured in Moldavia. A furious Blake learns Adam lied to him by canceling a business trip to marry Claudia. Blake cuts Adam out of his will. Claudia is upset to find Michael has been appointed chairman of La Mirage: "Blake, I'm tired of being treated like this" - Claudia complains. "I'm sick of being the Carrington doormat." The Colby family attends Blake's party to announce the formation of the Carrington-Colby pipeline.

Jason´s wife Sable is a cousin of Alexis´s. "Alexis, darling, - Sable tells her - I don't have to tell you how happy and relieved I am that you got out of that dreadful little country safely." "Oh, thank you for your concern, dear." "Only natural considering our mummies were sisters." "Yes, but that doesn't exactly make us kissing cousins, does it?" Blake, however, continues to question Jason's integrity. Rita tries to play her role of host as best as she can: "I'm fonder of contemporary art - she tells Sable: "Oh, why don't we meet in New York sometime. I have found a fabulous new young graffiti artist." "A lot of it is exciting." One-time lovers Dominique and Garrett Boydston, Jason's chief counsel, are reunited. From his bedroom window, Jeff spots Miles Colby arriving with Fallon.

9/126 - "THE DECISION" ("LA DECISIÓN")

Haciendo memoria de los detalles del momento en que vio a Fallon, Jeff recuerda una matrícula de California y descubre que estaba con Miles. En Moldavia, Dex derrota a sus captores y rescata a Galen. Disfrazados de cura y monja, Dex y Alexis sacan al rey del país a punta de pistola. El pequeño Blake oye por casualidad a Rita hablando con Sammy Jo y adivina que no es su tía Krystle, que sigue atada y amordazada en el desván. Dominique echa a Garrett de su suite: "Oh, Garrett, no se puede llegar a mi corazón por la puerta de delante..." - le asegura. Después hace una misteriosa llamada a un instituto femenino de Suiza. Esperanzado, Jeff se dirige a California para buscar a Fallon, mientras ella y Miles hacen el amor en un motel de carretera.

Searching his memory for details of the moment he spotted Fallon, Jeff recalls a California license plate and realizes she was with Miles. In Moldavia, Dex overpowers his captors and rescues Galen. Disguised as a priest and a nun, Dex and Alexis transport the king out of the country amid a hail of gunfire. Little Blake overhears Rita speaking with Sammy Jo and realizes she is not his aunt Krystle, who remains bound and gagged in the attic at Delta Rho Farms. Dominique orders Garrett from her suite: "Oh Garrett, the way to my heart is not through my front door" - she says self-assured. Then she places a mysterious call to a girl's finishing school in Switzerland. As an elated Jeff heads for California to find Fallon, she and Miles make love in a roadside motel.

10/127 - "THE PROPOSAL" ("LA PROPUESTA")

Alexis, Dex y Galen son recibidos en Denver por una multitud de periodistas. Galen nota que sus piernas se han paralizado y lo llevan al hospital. Tras fingir migrañas cada noche para evitar hacer el amor con Blake, este insiste en que Rita vea a un médico. Aprovechando la oportunidad, Joel se hace pasar por el Dr. Travers y va a la mansión. Blake sorprende a Alexis con la noticia de que Fallon está en California pero sufre amnesia. Claudia hereda un pozo petrolífero de Walter Lankershim y vuelve a vivir con los Carringtons: "Creo que deberías alegrarte por ella. Al menos ahora tiene a un hombre de verdad en su cama..." - le dice Adam a su hermano. "Enhorabuena a ti, y mi pésame para Claudia." Alguien compra acciones de la discográfica de Dominique, Titania Records. Blake cree que es Jason, para aumentar su influencia en la D-C. Rita añade al brandy de Blake un barbitúrico para controlarlo sexualmente. Desde el hospital, Galen jura convertir a Alexis en la mujer más poderosa del mundo...

Alexis, Dex, and Galen land in Denver amid a swarm of press. Galen's legs paralyzed and he is rushed to the hospital. After Rita feigns nightly headaches to avoid making love with Blake, he insists she see a doctor. Seizing the opportunity, Joel poses as Dr. Travers and makes a house call at the mansion. Blake stuns Alexis by telling her Fallon is alive in California but is suffering from amnesia. Claudia inherits an oil well from Walter Lankershim and moves back in with the Carringtons, now as Mrs. Adam Carrington: "Well, I think you should be happy for her. At least now she has a real man in her bed"- a cocky Adam tells his brother. "My congratulations to you, my condolences to Claudia." Someone is buying stocks from Dominique's record company Titania Records. Blake thinks it is Jason Colby in an attempt to gain influence at Denver-Carrington. Rita spikes Blake's brandy with a barbiturate to keep him sexually at bay. From his hospital bed, Galen vows to make Alexis the most powerful woman in the world.

11/128 - "THE CLOSE CALL" ("POR LOS PELOS")

Cuando Blake decide regalar a Krystle un caballo por sorpresa, Sammy Jo siente pánico al pensar que va a ir al rancho. Claudia se enfrenta a Blake por el pozo de Walter, segura de que se lo ha quitado ilegalmente. Cuando Blake le informa de que estaba en su posesión por métodos ilegítimos, conspira con Adam para recuperarlo. Michael y Amanda parecen más unidos y Alexis y Dex discuten si el rey debería vivir en su casa para poder recuperarse: "La culpa es un sentimiento que no tengo, es sólo para gente insegura." - Alexis le recuerda. Galen le ha prometido más poder a Alexis para volver a su trono: "¿Dar un golpe, restaurar tu monarquía, sería demasiado difícil para mí? Parece un desafío y a mí me gustan..." - dice ella.

When Blake decides to buy Krystle a horse as a surprise gift, Sammy Jo panics at the thought of Blake going to Delta Rho. Claudia confronts Blake over Walter Lankershim's oil well, believing it was taken from her illegally. When Blake tells her he received the well through legitimate means, she schemes with Adam to get it back. Michael and Amanda appear to grow closer as Alexis and Dex argue whether King Galen will move into their home to recuperate: "Guilt is an emotion I don't suffer from. Guilt is for insecure people" - Alexis tells him. Galen promises to make Alexis a powerful woman in order to use her money to regain the throne: "To mount a coup, to restore your monarchy, too difficult for me? Sounds like a challenge and I enjoy a challenge" - Alexis says.

12/129 - "THE QUARRELS" ("LAS PELEAS")

Rita pierde los nervios cuando Blake le dice que ha pedido hora con su médico. Alexis intenta advertir a Blake contra el extraño comportamiento de su mujer, y ataca a Krystle: "No puedo esperar a que llegue el día en que salgas de estas casa con las mismas maletas baratas de plástico que trajiste." Dex se enfada con Alexis porque cuida demasiado de Galen: "He trabajado mucho para conseguir lo que tengo, y aún más para conservarlo. Y, como soy mujer, he tenido que luchar en todo momento. Y ahora, cuando entro en algún sitio, los hombres se levantan, no porque sea una mujer sino porque ha entrado la mejor, y no voy a disculparme por eso." Galen confiesa a Michael que su boda fue de conveniencia y tiene sus planes para recuperar el trono. Michael quiere que él y Amanda formen una familia. Blake se enfurece cuando Rita, en el lugar de Krystle, rehuye sus insinuaciones románticas.

Rita panics when Blake tells her that he's made an appointment for her to see his physician. Alexis tries to warn Blake against his wife's strange behavior, and she tells Krystle: "I just can't wait for the day when I see you walking out of this house carrying the same two cheap plastic suitcases that you walked in here with." Dex becomes disgusted with Alexis as she pampers Galen: "I've worked hard for what I've achieved and even harder to hold onto it. And because I'm a woman, I've had to fight every step of the way. And, now when I walk into a room, men stand - not because I'm a lady but because the best has entered and I'm not going to apologize for that." Galen tells Michael that his marriage to Amanda was arranged, strengthening his own plans to regain the throne. Michael demands that he and Amanda start planning a family. Blake is enraged when Rita, posing as Krystle, runs away from his romantic advances.

Alexis receives a mysterious phone call from Caracas, where her imprisoned sister, journalist Caress Morell, is set free in exchange for the "Alexis Carrington-Dexter Story". When she returns to Denver, she meets her publisher: "They named me Cassandra, but I hated it" - she sats. "My name is Caress. Now, about the title, how does "Sister Dearest" sound?" I'm a Carrington and you owe me so don't you dare die..." Blake is able to flash back to the fatal moment of his illness and realizes that Rita is not Krystle. Galen continues his deceptive charade as he requests two million dollars from an unsuspecting Alexis and Dex is incensed. Elena's father is betrayed by Yuri and thrown into a Moldavian prison. Amanda catches Elena and Michael in a consoling embrace and explodes with jealousy. Rita panics when Blake demands to know who she really is. She flees to Joel, but finds Krystle instead. A vicious struggle ensues and unexpectedly, Sammy Jo appears and helps Krystle overpower Rita. Krystle and Sammy Jo race to escape but are abruptly cut off by Joel.

Krystle vuelca una mesa llena de comida encima del regazo de Alexis. Galen asegura a Dex que ha perdido definitivamente a Alexis y ahora será su reina.

Back from St. Thomas, Alexis walks in on an unsuspecting Galen and overhears his scheme to use her and her money to regain the throne: "I'll keep the tiara you gave me and the crowned jewels that you promised me" - says an angry Alexis. She also bashes Amanda when she picks up Danny: "Well, what do we have here, trying to fill Fallon's shoes as the young witch of the house, Amanda - says Sammy Jo, as bitchy as always. "No wonder your marriage is in trouble. You're so busy holding on to your broom stick that you can't even hold on to your husband." Galen is exiled to Lisbon, and a hopeful Michael returns to Amanda, only to learn that she loves Dex. Alexis completely breaks relations with Dex, driving him back to Amanda.

Blake tries to separate his daughter and Dex by tempting Amanda with a trip to Hawaii. Adam schemes to win political support by publicizing Bart Fallmont's sexual preferences. Steven protests and joins Bart for a drink. Posing as a journalist, Caress interviews Adam, and then makes a surprise visit to her sister as the final chapter of the Alexis Carrington-Dexter story nears completion: "Well, you certainly come a long way in five years" - says Caress - "Yes, put it down to a combination of business brains, ruthlessness and feminine intuition." "And good timing. You've always had perfect timing, Alexis." "Yes, as mummy used to say - time serves us or we serve time." Alexis dreams she and Blake are together again. When her attempts to make that a reality fail, she vows to destroy Blake's power hold in Denver-Carrington: "Every man I have ever loved has tried to control me, but not any more" - she tells Blake. "Oh, I tried to become the wife you wanted, the wife Dex needed, the woman who fit the mold. But, I broke that mold and now I'm going to break you."

Una crisis en Hong Kong envía a Blake a ultramar, dejando a Krystle como portavoz junto a Alexis en la inauguración de la asociación. "I've never seen you looking better. And, by the way, Blake's mine and you're never going to have him." "I don't want him - she answers. "You can keep him!" Although Bart and Steven cannot agree about the pipeline particulars, they are in mutual accord with their affections.

Bart secretly admits that he and his old roommate were lovers, not knowing that a private investigator, hired by Adam, is also privy to the information. Garrett questions a nervous Dominique about Jackie's father. His suspicions grow when Dominique refuses to answer. Alexis learns of Ben Carrington's isolated existence in Australia. With vengeance as her inspiration, she lures the recluse back to Denver, hoping to pit the estranged brothers against one another. Upon her return, Alexis receives a gift that turns her blood cold; Caress has moved in: "You gave me a place to stay for five ugly years" - she says resentful - ."Well, I'm going to be here for a lot longer than that. You do owe me, Alexis, and you know it." "All I know is that I always deal with my enemies, ex-husbands, sisters, you name it and ever since we were children Cassie darling, I always won. Always!"

Speaking at her own prearranged press conference, Alexis brashly announces a masquerade party fund-raiser at the Carrington mansion. Upon returning from Hong Kong, Blake reluctantly agrees to host the event in hopes of persuading ex-senator Buck Fallmont to reevaluate his stand on the pipeline. But Adam has made a move on his own and blackmails Buck´s son Bart: "You make your father see the light, or..." - Adam starts. "Or what? I can't make my father do anything he doesn't want to do." "Ah, but you will. Play the game our way or you personally are going to find that closet door of yours opening very wide."

Intercepting a call meant for Caress, Alexis learns of her sister's spiteful plan to write a book on her tumultuous life. Garrett confronts Dominique with the fact that Jackie's father is listed as "unknown" on her birth certificate. Dominique denies Garrett's assertions that Jackie may be his daughter. At the masquerade ball, Bart Fallmont shows Steven the newspaper headline running in the next morning's edition, which claims that Bart had a homosexual lover. Steven immediately suspects Adam's treachery and a fight ensues. When a disguised Ben sees Krystle with Blake, he says to Alexis: "I assume the beautiful woman with him is his wife" "As the old saying goes, never judge a book by its cover..." - replies a bitchy Alexis. She then sets her plan for Blake's demise into motion when Ben removes his costume and reveals himself as Blake's brother. "I want you to go through that door and walk out of this house and don't ever set foot in it again because if you do..." - threats Blake. "What will you do to me?" "I'll make you wish you've never been born. Now get out. Get out of this house and stay out of my life."

Alexis's surprise unveiling of Ben stuns Blake:

You're going to have a long wait, Alexis." She has little time to relish her first victory when Ben threatens to be her fiercest adversary if their plans go awry. Amanda breaks down when Dex confesses that he does not love her. She later finds strength and reassurance from Steven, only to be crushed again by an unforgiving Alexis.

Furious at Adam for publicizing Bart's past illicit romance, Steven instigates another battle with his brother. Blake also reprimands Adam, but the story accomplishes its purpose as ex-senator Buck Fallmont withdraws the pipeline injunction. Despite Krystle's queries, Blake refuses to discuss his estrangement from his brother. Blake is confronted by Ben, who has returned to Denver to contest their father's will. Having discovered Caress's sinister intentions, Alexis secretly buys the company contracted to publish the damaging expose. Unaware of her sister's actions, Caress continues to write and to fall prey to a merciless Alexis.

Jackie learns that her birth certificate lists her father as "unknown." Dominique, called to testify at Blake's trial, has no time to explain and Jackie leaves in tears. When Dominique meets Alexis at the hotel, she asks her:

"Why, you dirty little..." "Don't choke on words, spit it out, or has the former nightclub queen become too much of a lady these days. Whichever. All I know is there are only two kinds of wonders in this world - gutless and my gut." Vying for the inheritance he was denied, Ben accuses Blake of maliciously turning their father against him. Blake's rise to power is exposed by the incriminating testimony of those closest to him. Despite Ben's inflammatory accusations, Blake's case remains strong until Alexis takes the stand against him.

Las esperanzas de Blake se renuevan cuando un testigo decisivo, Franklin, admite que Alexis le sobornó para cambiar su testimonio. Pero luego Franklin llega al tribunal borracho y no puede declarar. Blake's hopes are renewed when a key witness, Franklin, admits that Alexis paid him to alter his testimony. But later Franklin arrives in court intoxicated and is unable to answer any questions. Angered by the drunken witness, the judge rules in favor of Ben, and Blake is forced to surrender one-fourth of the family estate. Blake vows to appeal and is determined to track down the mysterious woman who can clear his name:

"Adam, there isn't room enough anywhere for Alexis and me and I'm going to destroy her. That's what she's been asking for, and, damn it, that's what she's going to get." Bart is dropped from the senatorial race when newspaper headlines announce his homosexuality. Bart is relieved, but Steven is outraged and argues with a remorseless Adam. Bart's father, Buck, turns to Blake for advice. Dex offers Clay Fallmont a job on the pipeline. As Blake and Dex review construction particulars, a rancorous ex-employee orchestrates a potentially fatal accident. Buck Fallmont's wife, Emily, is ready to confess that she and Ben met the night of Ellen Carrington's tragic death. Fearing discovery, Ben warns Emily of the scandal that would result if she divulges the truth. Trapped, Emily remains silent, and Ben and Alexis celebrate sweet revenge.

Blake proposes a Colbyco takeover and wins back support, with Steven casting the deciding vote. Dex discovers Alexis and Ben "intimately" involved in planning Blake's destruction. Caress offers Blake her help and some disturbing information that could prove Alexis' court testimony false. When Jackie runs away, a distraught Dominique turns to Garrett and acknowledges that he is Jackie's father. Amanda sinks into a dangerous depression when she is unable to find a job and is continually rejected by a cold Alexis. Hungry for a story, reporter Gordon Wales provokes Blake into a rage with talk of the trial: "Alexis is out for blood. Well, that's just what she's going to get - blood - hers and my brother's."

When she witnesses a secret rendezvous between Emily and Ben, her suspicions are proven. In a desperate attempt to raise the money for the leveraged buy-out of Colby Co, Blake temporarily relinquishes control of Krystle Holdings to Bob Ashmore in exchange for a 100 million dollar loan. The demise of Blake's empire continues when Ashmore places a congratulatory call to Ben, celebrating their successful coup over the unsuspecting Blake. As Ben's plot to ruin his brother unfolds, Alexis prepares to present the Chinese government with falsified records showing Blake to be cheating them of royalties from the China Sea leases:

"Don't play games with me, Ben" - Alexis warns, "because I always win." "All sweetness and light, aren't you, Alexis?" "I am what I am, and that's why I am where I am. Don't you ever forget that." Claudia threatens to reveal Adam's power of attorney over Denver-Carrington unless the title to the oil well stolen from her is returned: "I am going to leave this family for good and I consider this my severance pay. And, if you do not do what I ask, I swear you are going to regret it for the rest of your life."

Unexpectedly, Middle Eastern financial magnate Farouk Ahrned offers to loan Blake the money for a staggering fee. Desperate for the capital, Blake accepts, not knowing that Alexis is his actual creditor. Through furtive investigations, Caress discovers that Emily Fallmont was with Ben the night of Ellen Carrington's death. She quickly relates this information to Blake, and leaves with him her expose, "Sister Dearest" as additional ammunition against Alexis. Blake confronts Emily, who breaks down and confesses her guilt. Seeing her torment, Blake promises to fight Ben without benefit of Emily's testimony. Struggling on her own, Jackie reconsiders her rash action of running away. Returning home, Jackie is shocked to learn that Garrett is her real father. Amanda becomes more and more despondent as she is continually pushed aside by family members for more important business matters: "It's you that I wanted in my life" - she tells her mother honestly. "All those years I grew up without you, it was your love that I needed." "How strange. I thought it was my husband's love that you needed." When a reporter then threatens to disclose the car accident cover-up in which she was at fault, Amanda swallows a bottle of pills.

Feeling guilty over her cold treatment toward Amanda, Alexis rushes to La Mirage, only to find Amanda unconscious next to an empty bottle of barbiturates. Forcing the nearly lifeless girl to walk, a remorseful Alexis begs her daughter's forgiveness. At the hospital, Alexis and Blake stand over a comatose Amanda. Even as each blames the other for their daughter's suicide attempt, they reaffirm their commitment to the other's destruction. Claudia tells Krystle what she really thinks of her: "I was a mercy book in here and you know it. Having little old Claudia around made the rest of you feel all the more superior. You've always fascinated me. While the rest of this family manipulates and turns brother against brother, you stand by radiating this glow of passive acceptance. You allow the treachery and that makes you the most dangerous Carrington of them all." Afterwards, Krystle has to listen to Alexis´s ironies too:

"Nothing is for free in this life. You, of all people, should know that. After all, you've charged enough." Dominique proposes to Garrett and the two make plans to marry. Steven fears losing custody of Danny if Sammy Jo marries Clay Fallmont. Caress demands ten percent of Ben's inheritance in exchange for her silence regarding Emily Fallmont. Ben agrees, but secretly arranges to have Caress extradited to Caracas. Alexis prepares to call in her one billion dollar loan to Blake to gain control of his South China Sea leases. Calling her contact, Kai Liu, Alexis schedules a meeting with the Chinese Oil Ministry. But she is yet unaware of Ben's own scheme with Liu, who now has possession of the damaging manuscript, "Sister Dearest." Unaware of this, Alexis visits Blake and threatens him (again): "Everything I have ever loved you've taken away from me - my children - one by one - this house. Well, take a deep breath, Blake, because the children and this house and everything that belonged to me is going to be mine again."

Seguro de que las concesiones del Mar de China le cubrirán, Blake adquiere una enorme cantidad de acciones de la Colbyco. Aprovechándose de su precaria situación, Alexis falsifica las cifras de producción petrolífera de Blake. En Hong Kong, Blake se enfrenta a la ruina financiera cuando el Ministro Han le acusa de haberle engañado y le confía que las concesiones no serán asignadas a él. Blake se sorprende cuando la prensa anuncia que Ben ha conseguido las concesiones de China. Seguro de que Ben y Alexis han conspirado juntos, Blake regala a ambos sendas de "Hermana querida," que entrega ávido de venganza a los periodistas: "Te juro, Alexis, que te veré en el infierno antes de dejar que me quites nada." "Oh, no quiero algo, Blake, lo quiero todo" - le corrige ella. Sammy Jo y Amanda rivalizan por la atención de Clay durante la fiesta de compromiso de Dominique. "Ya lo has oído, Blake, estás acabado. Lo has perdido todo y ahora esta casa es mía." "¿Esta casa, estás loca?" "Oh, no, estoy muy cuerda. Así que coge esta porquería y a tu rubia mantenida y vete de mi casa..." Sin el poder necesario para detenerla legalmente, Blake se deja llevar por la rabia y coge a Alexis por el cuello para estrangularla...

Blake is shocked when newspaper headlines announce Ben's acquisition of the South China Sea leases. Sure of Ben and Alexis' collusion, Blake greets the co-conspirators with copies of "Sister Dearest," which he vengefully hands out to the hungry press: "I swear, Alexis, I'll see you in hell before I let you take anything from me." After manipulating Ben into giving her one half of the leases, Alexis plots her ultimate revenge. Calling in her one billion dollar loan, Alexis renders a stunned Blake financially impotent. When he is unable to repay the money and refuses to relinquish the equivalent in Denver-Carrington stock, she takes over the mansion in the company of Ben:

"You heard him, Blake, you're finished. You've lost everything and I now own this house." "This house, are you insane?" "Oh no, I'm perfectly sane. So, take this junk and your blonde tramp and get out of my home." Legally powerless to stop her, Blake breaks into a fiery rage and grabs Alexis by the throat.
