18 - alexis´s secret

November 18, 1981: Alexis teased her own son Steven by telling him that his sister Fallon was not Blake´s daughter but his rival Cecil Colby´s (incest alarm: Fallon and Cecil almost went to bed on the first season!). Of course, that was not true: it was just a way to call his attention and manipulate her abandoned family. Also in this episode, enters Dr. Nick Toscanni (Michele Lee´s ex-husband James Farentino) who saves Claudia Blaisdel in his very first scene! What a way to go...What else will he do in the rest of the season? One of the best and better acted guest villains in the show´s history, Toscanni didn´t only sleep with Fallon, but also tempted Krystle and tried to break the unity of Blake´s family, because he had been responsible for his brother´s suicide. There were two great scenes in this episode, Jeff´s morning talk with a tree-cimbing Fallon, and a confrontation in the kitchen between the current Mrs. Carrington and the ex-Mrs. Carrington, one of the ealier and best verbal fights between both characters.

Febrero de 1983: Alexis mentía a su propio hijo Steven diciéndole que su hermana Fallon no era hija de Blake sino de su rival Cecil Colby (alarma de incesto: Fallon y Cecil casi se habían acostado en la primera temporada...). Claro que eso no era cierto: era una mera excusa para llamar su atención y manipular a la familia que abandonó. También en este episodio, hace su entrada el Dr. Nick Toscanni (el ex de Michele Lee, James Farentino) que salva a Claudia Blaisdel en su primera escena...Vaya nivelazo...¿Qué más le quedaría por hacer en el resto de la temporada? Uno de los mejores villanos invitados (y mejor interpretados tambien) de la serie, Toscanni no sólo durmió con Fallon, sino que tentó a Krystle e intentó romper la unidad familiar de Blake porque éste había sido el responsable del suicidio de su hermano. Podíamos ver dos grandes escenas en este episodio, la charla matutina de Jeff con una (literalmente) trepadora Fallon, y un enfrentamiento en la cocina entre la actual Sra. Carrington y la antigua Sra. Carrington, una de las primeras y mejores peleas verbales entre los dos personajes.
