1/89 - "DISAPPEARANCE" ("DESAPARICIÓN")

Fallon desaparece misteriosamente tras sufrir un grave accidente de coche. Dex y Steven pagan la fianza de Alexis y Sammy Jo intenta seducir a Adam. Una indignada Alexis grita delante del juez: "Su señoría, no voy a volver a esa celda con esas miserables, no puedo volver allí..." Luego halaga a Adam al sugerir que se una a su abogado Warren Ballard. El marido de Dominique, Brady, llega a La Mirada y se sorprende al ver a su mujer repentinamente interesada en quedarse en Denver. Steven acusa a su madre de haber matado a Mark y arruinado a Blake. Following a serious traffic accident, Fallon mysteriously vanishes. Dex and Steven bail Alexis out of jail. Sammy Jo attempts to seduce Adam. An outraged Alexis yells at the judge: "Your honor, I'm not going back to that cell with those wretched women. I can't go back there!" Then she flatters Adam by suggesting he work with her defense attorney, Warren Ballard. Dominique's husband Brady arrives at La Mirage and finds his wife suddenly interested in staying in Denver. Steven accuses his mother of killing Mark Jennings and ruining Blake's business. Despite her pleas, Steven tells his father everything. Blake swears revenge against her:
"I am going to teach her a lesson she's never going to forget. I'll pay her back. I'll bury her, just the way she tried to bury me." Steven orders Sammy Jo leave the mansion. She counters by promising she'll sue for custody of Danny. After duping Adam into letting Danny ride along with her to the airport, Sammy Jo dashes off, kidnapping her son: "My two best dresses were in those suitcases, honey lamb" - she tells her baby inside the taxi - . "But, if everything goes the way I plan, your mom's going to have more. Lots more."

2/90 - "THE MORTGAGE" ("LA HIPOTECA")

Steven acusa a Adam de conspirar con Sammy Jo para raptar a Danny. Blake no sospecha que Alexis está detrás de la hipoteca de su mansión y será su dueña si él no puede pagar a tiempo. Cuando se entera, le pregunta: "¿Por qué haces esto?" "Compraste esa casa como un regalo para mí, ¿recuerdas? Y por Dios que ahora lo será. Y cuando tú y tu preciosa Krystle os marchéis, yo os diré adiós con la mano..." "Ha habido ocasiones en que he querido matarte, pero ahora no. Te van a juzgar por asesinato y, cuando te declaren culpable, quiero estar presente y ver tu cara cuando sepas que no vivirás en mi casa el resto de tu vida. Estarás en la cárcel, y estoy impaciente porque llegue ese día..."
Una búsqueda por todo el país no ha servido para localizar a Fallon. Warren y Adam preparan la defensa de Alexis. Dominique debuta como cantante en La Mirada, con Blake y Krystle entre el público. Krystle nota enseguida la hostilidad de ella contra Blake. Brady también declina la hospitalidad de los Carrington. Jeff encuentra a un camionero que llevó a Fallon hasta Portland, Oregon, la noche del accidente.
Steven accuses Adam of conspiring with Sammy Jo to kidnap Danny. Blake arranges to take out a mortgage on the mansion. He little suspects Alexis has signed the note and will become the owner if he defaults. When he fins out, he asks Alexis: "Why are you doing this?" "You bought that mansion as a show place for me, remember. And, by God, now it's going to be. And, when you and your precious Krystle drive away, I'm going to stand at the door, waving goodbye." "There have been times I wanted to kill you, but not now. You've got a murder trial coming up. When they find you guilty, I want to be there and take a look at your face when you realize that you will not be living in my home for the rest of your life. You're going to be in a prison, and that's the day I can't wait for."
A cross-country search for Fallon has developed few leads. Warren Ballard and Adam prepare Alexis's defense. Dominique Deveraux makes her singing debut at La Mirage, with Blake and Krystle in attendance. Krystle quickly senses Dominique's hostility toward Blake. Brady declines the Carrington's hospitality as well. Jeff finds a truck driver who gave Fallon a lift to Portland, Oregon, the night of the accident.

3/91 - "FALLON"

Para obtener financiación para su empresa en bancarrota, Blake concierta una cita con Billy Waite, un conocido petrolero con mala reputación. Impaciente ante los escasos progresos que hace su abogado, Alexis lo despide y lo sustituye con Adam: "Mamá, no lo dices en serio..." - reacciona Adam. "Claro que sí. Buenos días." Alexis visita a Billy en Sudamérica fingiendo que le preocupan los problemas de Blake. Pero antes de marcharse, llega la policía y la detiene por intentar evitar el juicio. En un retiro religioso, Jeff descubre que Fallon ha muerto y estaba con Peter de Vilbis cuando murió...
To secure financing for his bankrupt company, Blake arranges to see Billy Waite, a notoriously underhanded oil man. Jeff continues his search for Fallon. Impatient with the progress her lawyer is making on her defense, Alexis fires Warren Ballard and retains Adam: "Mother, you cannot mean that" - says Adam. "Oh yes I can. I have fired chauffeurs and secretaries in my time. I have fired vice presidents and heads of corporations and I am now firing you Mr. Ballard. My business affairs people will messenger your check. Good day!" Alexis visits Billy Waite in South America under the guise of concern about Blake's misfortunes. As she prepares to leave, the police arrive. She is arrested for fleeing to avoid prosecution and led away by the police. At an isolated religious retreat, Jeff learns Fallon is dead and that she died along with Peter de Vilbis.

4/92 - "THE RESCUE" ("EL RESCATE")

En Seattle, Jeff y Blake averiguan que la mujer que murió en el accidente de avión con Peter no puede ser identificada, pero el anillo que llevaba era el de Fallon. De vuelta en Denver, se celebra el conmovedor funeral de Fallon. Una afectada Alexis consigue un permiso para asistir al funeral, y Jeff, atormentado, acaba haciendo una escena: "¿Por qué, Fallon? ¿Por qué me dejaste? Nunca me has querido. De lo contrario, no me habrías dejado por ese canalla. Zorra..."
Steven se reúne con Sammy Jo en L.A., donde le exige que le pague 30.000 dólares cada mes por devolverle a Danny. Cuando Claudia señala que su comportamiento sólo lo aísla de la familia, Adam decide ponerse en marcha y se introduce en la habitación de motel de Sammy Jo, y se lleva al pequeño. In Seattle, Jeff and Blake learn the woman who died in the plane crash with Peter de Vilbis cannot be positively identified, but the ring she was wearing is indeed Fallon's wedding band. Back in Denver, Fallon's moving funeral is held. A deeply upset Alexis is given leave from prison to attend the funeral, and a tormented Jeff ends up creating a scene: "Why, Fallon? Why'd you leave me? You never love me. If you loved me, you wouldn't have left me for that bum - you bitch!"
Steven meets Sammy Jo in Los Angeles, where she demands payment of $ 30,000 per month for Danny's return. After Claudia points out his behavior only isolates him from the family, Adam is moved to action. Adam breaks into Sammy Jo's motel room and retrieves little Danny. Dominique tells Blake why she is in Denver: "Let's just say that I feel as I do because we have so much in common." "Such as, what?" "Our blood, our genes, our daddy."

Blake visita a Dominique para hablar de su reciente revelación. Ella le explica que su madre fue amante del padre de él durante mucho tiempo, y tiene pruebas para demostrarlo. En el proceso contra Alexis, una vecina testifica en contra de ella y la incrimina. Vio a una mujer cerca de Mark en la terraza, que llevaba una capa propiedad de Alexis. Blake es llamado a declarar lo que sabe...
Blake visits Dominique at La Mirage to discuss her recent revelation. She tells Blake that her mother was a long-time mistress of his father and has evidence to prove it. At Alexis's trial, a neighbor offers powerful evidence that incriminates Alexis. Along with Mark, she saw a woman on the terrace wearing a cape that has been positively identified as Alexis. Blake is called to tell what he knows...

6/94 - "THE VERDICT" ("EL VEREDICTO")

Steven declara en el estrado que vio a Alexis empujar a Mark y matarlo. Furiosa, herida y defendiendo su inocencia, Alexis repudia a Steven: "Oh, Steven. Hubiera esperado esto de mis enemigos, pero no de ti...Te quería y aceptaba tu estilo de vida cuando los demás te dieron la espalda, incluido tu padre. Ya puedes volver a rastras con él porque te repudio. Ya no tengo ningún hijo llamado Steven."
Dominique ofrece a Blake 25 millones por el control de su empresa. Blake, sorprendido, le hace una contraoferta para venderle el 40% de la D-C por 30 millones. Jeff sale con otras mujeres para olvidar a Fallon, aunque sigue obsesionado con ella. Tras despedir a sus abogados para representarse a si misma, Alexis sube al estrado y testifica que no llevaba la capa en cuestión. Sin embargo, el fiscal demuestra que se la habían entregado y fue hallada después en un container de basura detrás de su edificio. Su siguiente declaración tampoco la ayuda mucho: "Mark era un mentiroso, un buscavidas y un chantajista. Era un miserable..." "¿Se merecía morir?" - pregunta la acusación. "Oh, sí. Si alguien merecía morir, era él..." El veredicto se dicta por fin: Alexis es declarada culpable.
On the witness stand Steven testifies he saw Alexis push Mark to his death. Furious, hurt, and still claiming her innocence, Alexis disowns Steven: "Oh, Steven. I'd expect this from my enemies, but from you of all people. I loved you. I accepted your gay lifestyle when the rest of the family turned their backs on you, including your father. Well, you can crawl back to him right now because I disown you. I no longer have a son named Steven."
Dominique offers Blake $25 million for control of his company. Stunned, Blake offers her 40% of Denver-Carrington for $30 million. Jeff sees other women in an attempt to forget Fallon, but remains obsessed with his ex-wife. Dismissing her attorneys and deciding to represent herself, Alexis takes the stand and testifies she was not wearing the cape that incriminated her. The prosecution, however, proves it had been delivered to her and was found stuffed in a trash bin behind her building. Her further statement doesn´t help either: "Mark was a liar and a cheat, a hustler and a blackmailer. He was beneath contempt" "Did he deserve to die? - asks the Prosecutor. "Oh, yes. If anyone deserved to die, he did." The verdict is at last delivered: Alexis is found guilty.

7/95 - "AMANDA"

Adam y Dex juran demostrar la inocencia de Alexis. La vecina que testificó que había visto a Alexis en la terraza con Mark, declara que celebraba una fiesta aquella noche y tomó fotos. Los negativos revelan que fue Neal quien incriminó a Alexis del asesinato de Mark, y ella es puesta en libertad. La D-C vuelve a hacer negocios. Alexis jura vengarse de Dominique cuando se entera de su asociación con Blake. Brady se queda atónito al descubrir la verdadera relación de Dominique con Blake:
"Su padre y mi madre. Fui la hija ilegítima más mona del vecindario." Al llegar a casa, Alexis recibe una visita de una hermosa joven llamada Amanda: "¿Qué haces aquí, Amanda? Se suponía que estabas en la escuela, en París." "He venido a ver si podía ayudarte. Es lo menos que podía hacer por mi madre..."
Adam and Dex vow to prove Alexis' innocence and begin a determined campaign. The woman who testified she had seen Alexis on the terrace with Mark had hosted a party that evening and snapped photographs. The negatives reveal it was Neal McVane who had framed Alexis for Mark's murder. Alexis is freed. Denver-Carrington is back in business. Alexis vows revenge on Dominique when she learns of her new partnership with Blake. Brady is stunned to learn of Dominique's true relationship with Blake:
"His father and my mother. I was the cutest illegitimate child on the block." Upon returning home, Alexis receives a visit from a beautiful young woman named Amanda: "What are you doing here, Amanda? You're supposed to be in Paris - school." "I came to see if I could help. It's the least I could do for my mother."

8/96 - "THE SECRET" ("EL SECRETO")

Amanda insiste en que Alexis admita que es su madre y le revele el nombre de su padre. Ella le responde que sólo era un anónimo monitor de esquí de Gstaad. Steven y Alexis se reconcilian y él vuelve a la Colbyco, donde acaban de contratar a un atractivo joven llamado Luke Fuller, como director de relaciones públicas. Claudia sorprende a Luke retocando la corbata de su marido en su despacho. Amanda se convierte en una persona pública cuando un artículo de primera plana anuncia que es la hija ilegítima de Alexis:
"Espero que no os importe" - les dice a sus padres - "pero ahora voy a usar el nombre que aparece en mi certificado de nacimiento, Amanda Carrington." "¿No crees que puede resultar un poco confuso?" - pregunta Blake. "Por esta vez Blake lleva la razón. Demasiados Carrington y Denver se pondrá nerviosa..." - añade Alexis. Jeff conoce a una atractiva y joven viuda, Nicole, que estuvo casada con Peter de Vilbis.
Amanda insists Alexis acknowledge their relationship and begs her to reveal her father's identity. Alexis tells her it was simply an anonymous ski instructor in Gstaad. Steven and Alexis reconcile and he rejoins Colbyco, where Luke Fuller, an attractive young man, has just been hired as public relations director. Claudia enters Steven's office to find Luke straightening her husband's tie. Amanda goes public with a front page story announcing she is Alexis's illegitimate daughter:
"I hope you don't mind" - she tells her parents - "but I'm going by my birth certificate name now, Amanda Carrington." "Won't you think that might be a little confusing?" - asks Blake. "Blake's right for once. Too many Carringtons and Denver gets nervous" - adds Alexis. Jeff meets an attractive young widow, Nicole, whose late husband was Peter de Vilbis.

9/97 - "DOMESTIC INTRIGUE" ("INTRIGA DOMÉSTICA")

Blake se ofrece a ayudar a Amanda a encontrar a su padre y a Jeff a sobrellevar su dolor: "Me gustaría que estuviewras felizmente casado y que les dieras hermanos a tu hijo - una verdadera familia" - le confía Blake. "No una familia: una dinastía como los Carrington." Claudia queda para cenar con Dean mientras que Steven rechaza a Luke. Jeff acaba durmiendo con Nicole.
Dominique viaja a Estambul para entrevistarse con Rashid y le ofrece 10 millones por confesar que ha mentido sobre la implicación de Blake en el tráfico de armas. Cumpliendo órdenes de Blake, Adam sigue a Dominique y soborna a la policía turca. Cuando Rashid firma el acuerdo con Dominique, aparece la policía, que le dispara y mata mientras intenta escaparse. En Denver, Krystle se entera de la muerte de Rashid y la implicación indirecta de Blake en ella. Muy preocupada, baja las escaleras corriendo y pierde el equilibrio, cayendo ante la mirada horrorizada de Blake.
Blake offers to help Amanda find her father. He also tries to help a grieving Jeff: "I'd like you to be married, happily married. I'd like you to give your son brothers and sisters - a real family" - says Blake honestly. "Not a family; a dynasty - just like the Carringtons." Claudia goes out with Dean on a dinner, while Steven rejects Luke. Jeff ends up sleeping with Nicole.
Dominique goes to Istanbul to meet with Rashid Ahmed. She offers him $10 million for a confession that he has lied about Blake being involved in weapon-trafficking. On Blake's instructions, Adam is following Dominique and bribes the Turkish police. When Rashid signs Dominique's deal, the police shows up and Rashid is shot and killed as he tries to run away. Back in Denver, Krystle learns about Rashid's death and Blake's indirect involvement. Deeply upset, she rushes off and looses her balance - dramatically falling down the stairs of the Carrington mansion while Blake watches in horror.

10/98 - "KRYSTINA"

Krystle da a luz prematuramente a una niña que padece problemas respiratorios. La llama Krystina en honor a una amiga que le salvó la vida. Alexis no duda en ir al hospital para discutir con Blake: "Llegas aquí hecha una furia porque tienes que compartir a Amanda conmigo y llamas a eso amor. Nunca has amado a nadie salvo a ti misma, y ahora, déjanos en paz, no soporto verte..." Claudia se siente incómoda cuando Steven acompaña a Luke en viaje de negocios. Tras confiárselo a Dean, él la abraza y acaban besándose apasionadamente. Amanda oye a Dex decirle a Alexis que deje de ocultar la identidad del padre de Amanda. Jeff encuentra una foto de Peter en la habitación de hotel de Nikki...
Krystle goes into premature labor and delivers a baby girl, who suffers from respiratory problems. She names the child Krystina after a friend who once saved her life. Alexis doesn´t hesitate to go to the hospital to argue with Blake: "You come in here enraged because you might have to share Amanda with me. You call that love. You've never loved anyone but yourself. Now, leave us alone. I can't stand the sight of you." Claudia is uneasy when Steven accompanies Luke on a business trip. After confiding in Dean Caldwell, he moves to hug her, and the two are soon in a passionate embrace. Amanda overhears Dex tell Alexis to stop hiding the identity of Amanda's father. Jeff finds a photo of Peter de Vilbis in Nikki's hotel room.

11/99 - "SWEPT AWAY" ("BARRIDOS POR LA MAREA")

Al saber que podría ser el padre de Amanda, Blake decide pedirle a Amanda que se someta a una prueba de paternidad. Luego ella le dice a su madre: "Te decepcionará oír que, a pesar de todos sus problemas, Blake fue comprensivo, compasivo y sincero." "Todas las cosas que yo no soy..." - añade Alexis con ironía. "No pongas palabras en mi boca..." "Alguien tiene que hacerlo" - afirma Dex. Nicole informa a Jeff de que hay una posibilidad de que Peter estuviera con otra mujer en el momento del accidente. Con la excusa de una salida familiar, Alexis envía a Dex y Amanda a una estación de esquí. Upon learning that he may be Amanda's father, Blake resolves to ask Amanda to take a blood test. Later she tells her mother: "You'll be disappointed to hear that, in spite of all his problems, Blake was understanding, compassionate, and sincere." "All the things I'm not - adds Alexis ironicly. "Don't put words in my mouth!" "Someone's got to" - says Dex. Nicole tells Jeff there's a chance Peter de Vilbis may have been with another woman at the time of the crash. Under the pretense of a family outing, Alexis arranges to send Dex and Amanda to a ski lodge. With the tension growing between them, Amanda and Dex begin to fight. Blake buys back his racehorse Allegre from owner Daniel Reece, who sends Krystle a gift. Furious, she demands to know how he dare approach her after what happened with her sister, Iris.

Krystle se reconcilia con Daniel, que le explica que su ruptura con su hermana fue amistosa. Harta de la negativa de Blake a aceptarla como una Carrington, Dominique considera una serie de alternativas, entre ellas una generosa oferta de Alexis por sus acciones de la D-C:
"Sería mejor para ti que trataras conmigo en vez de con Blake" - le dice una falsa Alexis. "Es como preguntarme si prefiero que me ataque un león o una cobra. En ambos casos, si no voy con cuidado, podría morir..." Claudia se hospeda en La Mirada. Krystle confía a Steven que Daniel es el padre de Sammy Jo y, por tanto, nieto de Danny. Jeff y Nicole hallan la pieza que faltaba de un mapa que habían compartido Peter y Fallon para localizar un tesoro oculto. El padre de Blake sufre un ataque al corazón: "Tu demanda tendrá que esperar: mi padre se está muriendo..." "No tu padre: el nuestro. Y yo voy contigo" - anuncia Dominique.
Krystle reconciles with Daniel, who reveals that his break-up with her sister was amicable. Dominique, bitter over Blake's continued refusal to acknowledge her as a Carrington, considers a number of alternative courses, including a generous offer from Alexis for her share of Denver-Carrington:
"You'll be far better off dealing with me than with Blake Carrington" - says a phony Alexis. "That's like asking me if I'd rather be clawed by a lion or bitten by a cobra. Either way, if I'm not careful, I could be dead." Claudia moves into La Mirage. Krystle confides to Steven that Daniel is Sammy Jo's father and therefore little Danny's grandfather. Jeff and Nicole find the missing piece of a map that de Vilbis and Fallon had shared in the hope of finding buried treasure. Blake's father suffers a heart attack: "Your lawsuit is going to have to wait: My father's dying." "Not your father - our father. I am going with you" - announces Dominique.

Claudia rechaza los intentos de reconciliación de Steven, mientras que aumenta la tensión entre Dex y Amanda. La pequeña Kristina puede por fin dejar el hospital. Jeff sigue empeñado en cumplir su misión de encontrar a Fallon con ayuda de Nikki, que se ha enamorado de él. Blake descubre furioso que Alexis también está en Sumatra:

Claudia rebuffs Steven's conciliatory attempts. Tension between Dex and Amanda continues to mount. Baby Kristina is allowed to leave the hospital. Jeff remains intent upon his mission to find Fallon with the help of Nikki, who has fallen in love with him. Blake is angry to see Alexis in Sumatra:
"I thought I made it quite clear that I didn't want you to come here!" - he says. "Oh, yes, Blake, you made it quite clear. But I don't arrange my life to suit the Gospel According to Blake Carrington!" - she answers. On his deathbed, Tom Carrington makes amends with Blake, and in a final dramatic gesture, has his will changed. His vast estate is to be divided among Blake, Alexis, and his acknowledged daughter, Dominique, whom he names as executor: "Executor of the legacy that Blake and I were going to leave to our children" - complains an enraged Alexis. "I'll fight this travesty through every possible court and I'll break it." "Just a moment, Alexis. Now you loathe me and I despise you. But, it is time for us to face the fact we're all one big....family, now" - says Dominique with delight.

Krystle empieza a trabajar con Daniel. Blake se opone rotundamente a ello e intercambia duras palabras con Reece: "Mientras no se interpongan en mi camino, no me importa lo que compre." "Tengo una norma - afirma Daniel - Nunca voy tras algo que no puedo conseguir." "¿Esa norma se aplica sólo a las empresas o también a las esposas?" Dex se enfurece con Alexis por haber viajado a Sumatra para ver al padre de Blake, pero Alexis se siente aún más furiosa, esta vez con Dominique:
"No necesito el testamento de Tom para destrozar a esa cantante de tercera. Hay más de una forma de deshacerse de ella. Puedes estar seguro de que la encontraré." Alexis descubre a través de Amanda que Dex combatió en Vietnam con Daniel. Jeff y Nikki siguen el rastro de mapa del tesoro hasta una remota selva y encuentran una estatua con joyas en su interior, así como una mujer que se ha hecho pasar por Fallon. Jeff despierta el día siguiente, y se entera de que él y Nikki se casaron mientras lo celebraban.
Krystle begins working with Daniel. Blake is adamantly opposed and exchanges harsh words with Reece: "As long as a man doesn't get in my way, I don't care what he buys" "I have a rule - says Daniel - I never go after anything that can't be taken." "Does that rule hold only for companies or does it apply to wives also?" Dex is furious with Alexis for traveling to Sumatra to see Blake's father, but Alexis is even more furious, this time with Dominique:
"I don't need Tom's will to break that saloon singer into little pieces. There's more than one way to destroy her. You may believe that and I'll find it." Alexis learns from Amanda of Dex's experience with Daniel in Vietnam. Jeff and Nikki follow the treasure map to a remote jungle location and find a statue filled with jewels, as well as a woman who has been impersonating Fallon. Jeff awakens the following day and learns that while celebrating, he and Nikki were married.

Después de disfrutar de una agradable cena juntos, Lady Ashley besa impetuosamente a Blake...
Krystle launches her new business with the purchase of an Arabian horse. Sexual tension between Steven and Luke mounts, especially after one of Adam´s dirty speeches: "Who are you trying to kid? I know where you were. I know why your marriage is crumbling. You're back to your old ways, aren't you? You're having an affair with that little fag you're working with..." - Steven goes to Luke´s and tells him:
"I know what I want to do, where I want to be and with whom." And he finally sleeps with him. Jeff and Nikki return from Bolivia with the news of their marriage and they move into the mansion. Alexis is intrigued with Blake's recent meeting with a delegation from China. It was arranged by Lady Ashley Mitchell, an internationally known photojournalist and widow of a wealthy British lord. After Lady Ashley and Blake enjoy a lovely dinner together, she impetuously kisses him.

Blake regresa triunfante de su negociación con los chinos. Alexis jura arrebatarle el trato. Dominique amenaza a Alexis a su manera: "No tengo intención de acabar en lo más bajo contigo. Has de saber que soy una luchadora callejera y puedo jugar muy sucio." Pero después Brady recuerda a Dominique: "Si quieres a Blake Carrington, quédate con él, pero no puedes tenernos a los dos." Incómoda por la frecuente atención de Daniel, Krystle empieza a evitarlo. Blake, absorbido por su negocio, pasa el tiempo con Ashley. La aventura de Steven con Luke acaba de repente cuando decide volver con Claudia: "Lo normal es amar a alguien, Steven - le dice Luke - Compartir y madurar juntos." Blake invita a Amanda a acompañarlo en un viaje de negocios a Acapulco. Alexis descubre sus planes y se invita a si misma y a Ashley.
Blake returns triumphant from his negotiations with the Chinese. Alexis vows to buy into the venture. Dominique threatens Alexis her own way: "I have no intention of crawling into the gutter with you. You should know I'm a street fighter and I can get very dirty." But later Brady tells Dominique: "You want Blake Carrington, you can have him, but you can't have both of us." Krystle, uncomfortable with Daniel's increasing attention, avoids him. Blake, absorbed in his business, is distracted by Lady Ashley. Steven's on-going affair with Luke ends abruptly when he decides to return to Claudia: "Normal is loving someone, Steven - Luke tells him - Sharing and growing together." Blake invites Amanda to accompany him on a business trip to Acapulco. Alexis learns of the trip and invites herself and Lady Ashley.

Luego continúa: "Parece que tú y Ashley os lleváis muy bien...Es hermosa, inteligente y elegante. Debe ocultar algo malo" "Bueno, tú lo averiguarás" - añade Blake.- "Y si no, seguro que te lo inventarás..." Amanda tiene una aventura con el Príncipe Michael de Moldavia. Claudia va a ver a Luke, y le pide que respete la petición de Steven de que permanezcan separados. Krystle hace una visita-sorpresa a Daniel, que esconde rápidamente unos mapas y planes que detallan una maniobra militar secreta. Mientras cabalgan, Krystle cae de su caballo y Daniel, tras comprobar que no está herida, le da un apasionado beso...
Blake is surprised to learn Lady Ashley is an Acapulco. Alexis attempts to persuade the head of the Chinese delegation to hire Colbyco. She also pressures Blake at the Ball: "I want my share of those leases. If I don't get them, I'll make that wicked fairy look positively angelic by comparison" - she says, comparing herself with "Sleeping Beauty"´s Maleficent. Then she continues: "You and Lady Ashley seem to be getting along famously. She's beautiful, she's clever and she's very smart. There's got to be something wrong with her." "Well, you'll find out what it is" - Blake adds - "I'm sure or else you'll invent it." Amanda has a romantic fling with Prince Michael of Moldavia. Claudia meets with Luke, asking him to honor Steven's request that they remain apart. Krystle makes a surprise visit to Daniel, who hurriedly hides maps and plans detailing a secret military maneuver. While riding, Krystle is thrown from her horse. Relieved she is unhurt, Daniel kisses her passionately.

Amanda pasa la noche con Michael y luego se lleva un desengaño al saber que está prometido. "¿Preferirías que la empujase a los brazos de otro, como a los tuyos?" - añade una viborina Alexis. Después ofrece a Blake un generoso trato en los Mares del Sur, que él acepta con reservas. Cuando Claudia encuentra a Steven y Luke en un restaurante, corresponde por fin a los flirteos de Adam. Steven asegura a Luke: "Para poder estar en paz conmigo mismo tengo que llevar una familia como heterosexual. El otro estilo de vida nunca me complacería." "El estilo de vida gay, Steven. No hace falta que lo susurres. Ya no nos lapidan en la plaza del pueblo, no estamos tan mal." Dex decide acompañar a Daniel en una maniobra militar de alto secreto. Daniel confiesa a Krystle que lleva muchos años enamorado de ella...
Amanda spends the night with Prince Michael and then is heartsick to learn he is engaged. Dex persuades the Chinese delegation to use his company instead of Blake's for an important drilling job. He is also suspicious of Alexis´s intentions regarding her newly-found daughter: "I want to know why you are trying to push your daughter into His Highness' arms" - he asks her. "Would you prefer that I pushed her into someone else's arms? For example yours?" - says a bitchy Alexis. Afterwards, she offers Blake a generous deal in the South Seas. Although suspicious, he accepts. After Claudia spots Steven and Luke at a restaurant, she finally accepts Adam's advances. Steven assures Luke: "In order to be at peace with myself is a life with a family, straight. That other lifestyle could never really satisfy me." "The gay lifestyle, Steven. You don't have to whisper it. They don't stone us in the village square anymore. It's not that bad." Dex decides to accompany Daniel on a top-secret military maneuver. Daniel confesses to Krystle he's been in love with her for years.

La tensión aumenta entre Krystle y Blake junto con las sospechas de uno sobre el otro. Claudia se arrepiente de haber dormido con Adam. Dominique frustra el intento de Alexis de absorber su empresa, pero no puede evitar que Brady le pida el divorcio. Alexis se enfrenta a Jeff cuando descubre que se ha casado con Nikki: "¿Por qué lo has hecho? ¡Casarte con el hombre que asesinó a Fallon! ¿Qué intentabas hacer, vengarte de mi hija por huir de ti? Jeff, quiero una respuesta, debe de haber alguna explicación a tu locura..." Luego ella contrata a un detective para que investigue las circunstancias que rodearon la boda de Jeff y Nikki: averigua que falsificó la licencia de matrimonio y engañó a Jeff para que creyese que se habían casado durante su borrachera. Jeff se enfrenta a Nikki, que confiesa y se va de la mansión. Alexis discute con Amanda por su desinterés hacia Michael:
"¿Puedo comentar que los príncipes no crecen en los árboles, y cuando uno prácticamente se rinde a tus pies, deberías saber qué hacer con él?" "En lugar de intentar resolverme la vida, ¿por qué no te centras en ti misma? Lo que me recuerda: ¿Dónde está Dex?" "En realidad, no lo sé. Y francamente, querida, eso no me importa..." - responde rotunda. Dominique sufre un repentino ataque de tos y se desmaya...
Tensions between Krystle and Blake mount as their suspicions of one another grow. Claudia regrets sleeping with Adam. Dominique derails Alexis' s attempt to buyout her company, but is unable to stop Brady's divorce proceedings. Alexis confronts Jeff when she knows he has married Nikki: "Why did you do it?! Marry the widow of the man who murdered Fallon! What were you trying to do, strike back at my daughter for running away from you? Jeff, I want an answer, there must have been some method to your madness". Then she hires a private detective to investigate the circumstances surrounding Jeff's marriage to Nikki: She learns the girl fabricated the marriage license and deluded Jeff into believing he had married her while drunk. Jeff confronts Nikki, who confesses and leaves the mansion. Alexis argues with Amanda regarding her disinterest towards Michael:
"May I point out that princes do not grow on trees, and when one falls at one's feet as it were, one should know what to do with one?" "Instead of trying to solve my life, why don't you concentrate on your own? Which reminds me: where is Dex?" "Actually, I don't know. And frankly, darling, I don't give a damn" - she bluntly answers. Dominique is suddenly seized with a violent cough and drops to the floor, unconscious.

21/109 - "LIFE AND DEATH" ("VIDA Y MUERTE")

Dominique sigue en estado crítico tras sufrir un colapso. Luke hace una inesperada visita a Steven. Blake asegura a su hijo que tendrá su apoyo sin importar su opción sexual: "Steven, he perdido a una hija este año y ahora, podría perder a una hermana. Ojalá las cosas fueran diferentes para ti, pero me da igual quién o qué seas, porque no pienso perderte." Blake habla también con Claudia, pero ella es realista respecto a su matrimonio: "Steven no sabe lo que quiere, y hasta que lo sepa, ¿qué esperas que haga yo, sentarme a esperarle? Tiene una mujer y un hijo que le quieren, y se siente dividido. Blake, Steven tiene que tomar una decisión. No puedo ser yo quien lo rescate..." Krystle y Ashley intercambian acaloradas palabras. Dex vuelve de su misión secreta muy enfermo, y, delirando por la fiebre, llama a Amanda. Alexis contacta con su ex amante el Rey Galen, un monarca de Oriente Medio que resulta ser padre de Michael. Quiere acordar un matrimonio de conveniencia para Amanda y Michael.
Dominique remains in critical condition after collapsing. Luke pays an unexpected visit to Steven. Blake tells his son that he will support him regardless of his sexual choice: "Steven, I've lost one child this year. Now, I may lose my sister. I could wish things were different for you. But, no matter who you are or what you are, I'll be damned if I'm going to lose you." Blake also talks to Claudia, but she is realistic about her marriage: "Steven doesn't know what he wants and until he does, what do you expect me to do? Sit by and wait for him? He's got a wife and son who love him. He's still torn to pieces. Blake, Steven has to make up his own mind. I can't be a one-woman rescue mission for him." Krystle and Ashley exchange heated words. Dex returns from his secret mission quite ill, and in his feverish raving, he calls out for Amanda. Alexis calls her former lover, King Galen, a Middle Eastern monarch and Prince Michael's father. She wants to make a marriage match for Amanda and Michael.

Steven confiesa a Claudia que, aunque aún la ama, está seguro de que también ama a Luke. Dominique aconseja a Krystle que se reconcilie con Blake o se arriesga a perderle por Ashley. Esta vuelve a besarle impulsivemente y un fotógrafo capta la imagen, y se la envía a Krystle.
Alexis attempts to persuade King Galen to allow a marriage between Amanda and his son. She sweetens the offer by suggesting his country would receive a portion of Colbyco's revenues. Finally, she takes him to bed. Steven tells Claudia that although he still loves her, he is now certain he also loves Luke. Dominique advises Krystle to reconcile with Blake or risk losing him to Ashley. Lady Ashley impulsively kisses Blake and the moment is photographed and sent to Krystle.

Alexis se siente aliviada y Blake, preocupado, cuando Amanda cambia de opinión y decide casarse con el Príncipe Michael, pero también guarda rencor hacia su madre: "¿Por qué me has intercambiado, por más concesiones petrolíferas? Dime, ¿cuánto vale una hija en el mercado libre hoy en día?" Dex pregunta a Alexis: "¿Por qué hiciste que volviera Michael, Alexis? ¿No ves que Amanda no está interesada?" - le asegura. "No, no lo veo, Dex, ni tampoco que sea cosa tuya. Si no quieres acabar en el hospital, te sugiero que te metas en la cama...Es una palabra importante en tu vocabulario, ¿verdad? 'Cama'. Como cuando te "acuestas"...¿o es cuando te "revuelcas"? Nunca se me ha dado bien conjugar verbos."
Sammy Jo resulta ser la responsable de las fotos comprometedoras, y se da cuenta de su plan para separarlos no ha funcionado. Pero encuentra a una mujer que tiene un parecido asombroso con su tía. Blake regresa a la mansión tras pasar la velada con Ashley, y se sorprende al saber que Krystle ha cancelado su viaje de negocios. Herida por lo que aparenta ser la infidelidad de Blake, Krystle coge a su hija y se marcha después de decirle: "Durante estos últimos meses, todo lo que he hecho ha estado mal, pero tú nunca te equivocas. Siempre eres inocente y agradable. Pues ya me he cansado de eso..."
Alexis is relieved and Blake is concerned when Amanda suddenly changes her mind and decides to marry Prince Michael, but she is also resented towards her mother: "What did you trade me for, more oil leases? Tell me, how much does a daughter go for on the open market these days?" Also, Dex asks Alexis: "Why did you bring Michael back, Alexis? Can't you see that Amanda isn't interested?" - he assures. "No, I can't see that, Dex. And I also can't see that it's any of your business. Now, if you don't want to end up in the hospital, I suggest that you get yourself into bed... It's a big word in your vocabulary, isn't it? 'Bed'. As in 'to lie'...or is it 'to lay'? I've never been good at conjugating verbs."
Sammy Jo is revealed to be the culprit behind the compromising photographs. She realizes the scheme to split them apart is useless until she spots a woman who bears an uncanny resemblance to her aunt. Blake returns to the mansion after spending the evening with Ashley, and is surprised to find Krystle has cancelled her planned business trip. Krystle, hurt by what appears to be Blake's betrayal, immediately takes the baby and leaves the mansion after telling him: "For these past few months, everything I've done has been wrong, wicked and sinful. But not you, no. It's always just harmless and pleasant. Well, I''m tired of it."

24/112 - "THE CRASH" ("EL ACCIDENTE DE AVIÓN")

Claudia vuela a Méjico para divorciarse de Steven. Inesperadamente, Adam aparece en su hotel y pasan la noche juntos. Cuando Amanda pone en ridículo a Michael en la fiesta de Dominique, la paciencia de este se agota y la abandona. Jeff se siente cada vez más atraído por Ashley, y Alexis le dice a Luke:
"Tengo reputación de ser imprevisible, retorcida y manipuladora. Aprecio esa reputación porque mantiene a mis enemigos con la guardia baja." Dex rescata a Daniel, que va a ver a Krystle inmediatamente. Feliz de verlo vivo, le abraza y él malinterpreta su muestra de afecto, lo cual saca de quicio a Blake. Los dos hombres se enzarzan an una pelea a bordo de un avión privado, y golpean al piloto que va en la cabina, poniendo el avión fuera de control.
Claudia flies to Mexico to divorce Steven. Unexpectedly, Adam appears at her hotel and they spend the night together. After Amanda embarrasses Prince Michael at Dominique's party, his patience is exhausted and he leaves her. Jeff's infatuation with Ashley grows. Alexis has a talk with Luke and tells him:
"I have a reputation that is unpredictable, devious, and manipulative. I cherish that reputation because it keeps my enemies off guard." Dex rescues Daniel, who goes immediately to see Krystle. Relieved he's alive, she embraces him and he misinterprets her affection. Blake is enraged. While airborne with Daniel on a private plane, the men fight and knock the pilot from the cockpit, throwing the plane out of control.

Blake y Daniel sobreviven al accidente de avión. Jeff alquila un helicóptero y desafía condiciones arriesgadas para localizar los restos. Dominique advierte a Ashley que no ponga en peligro el matrimonio de Blake. Alexis visita la mansión y vuelve a enfrentarse con Krystle:
"Quiero que te vayas de mi casa" - exige Krystle. "¿Tu casa? Esta era mi casa cuando tú vivías en un tugurio." "Alexis, si no bajas esas escaleras y sales por esa puerta, te echaré yo misma." "No querría que te esforzaras, querida. Me marcho, pero volveré." Krystle y Blake por fin resuelven sus problemas y renueven su compromiso mutuo. Amanda se reconcilia con Michael, y la boda se anuncia otra vez. Krystle visita a Daniel y le informa de que es el padre de la hija de su hermana Iris, Sammy Jo.
Blake and Daniel survive the plane crash. Jeff charters a helicopter and braves hazardous conditions to finally locate the wreckage. Dominique warns Ashley not to jeopardize Blake's marriage. Alexis visits the mansion and clashes with Krystle, again:
"I want you out of my house" - the latter demands. Your house? This was my house while you were living in a shanty somewhere." "Alexis, if you don't go down these stairs and out that door, I'll throw you out - myself." "I wouldn't want you to exert yourself, my dear. I'm leaving...but I will be returning." Krystle and Blake finally clear the air and renew their commitment to each other. Amanda reconciles with Prince Michael, and the wedding is back on. Krystle visits Daniel and tells him he is the father of her sister Iris' baby, Sammy Jo.

Krystle acompaña a Daniel a N.Y. para ver a Sammy Jo, la hija que él nunca ha conocido. Mirando fotos que Ashley ha tomado para cubrir un concierto de rock, Jeff se sorprende al identificar a Fallon entre la multitud. Steven se pone celoso cuando ve a Luke cenando con otro hombre. Alexis y Ashley discuten por Dex:
"Dex es mío, en el dormitorio y en la sala de juntas" - asegura. "Para eso le pagas, Alexis..." "Nunca he tenido que pagar por eso, Ashley, ¿y tú?" Adam altera información vital sobre un negocio urgente para que Jeff parezca un incompetente. Al corregir el "error" de Jeff en el último minuto, Adam gana puntos a los ojos de Blake. Antes de partir hacia Oriente Medio, Daniel hace prometer a Krystle que cuidará de Sammy Jo si a él le ocurre en ultramar.
Krystle accompanies Daniel to New York for his reunion with Sammy Jo, the child he's never known. While looking through photos Ashley snapped on assignment at a rock concert, Jeff is stunned to spot Fallon among the crowd. Steven's upset to see Luke having dinner with another man. Alexis and Ashley argue about Dex:
"Dex is mine - in the bedroom and the boardroom" - she assures. "Bought and paid for, Alexis." "I've never had to pay for it, Ashley, have you?" Adam alters vital information on an urgent business wire to make Jeff appear incompetent. Correcting Jeff's 'error' at the last minute, Adam gains points with Blake. Before departing for the Middle East, Daniel extracts a promise from Krystle to take care of Sammy Jo should danger befall him overseas.

Amanda es secuestrada ante los ojos de Alexis pero Dex obliga al coche del secuestrador a aparcar en la cuneta. Amanda queda libre entonces, pero adivinan que quien lo ha tramado todo es Yuri, el jefe de guardaespaldas del príncipe. Steven pide a Luke que le acompañe a la boda de Amanda. Adam y Claudia se declaran su amor, mientras Dex recibe un telegrama informando de trágicas noticias. En L.A., una amnésica Fallon aparece en una comisaría en busca de ayuda...
As Alexis and Amanda emerge from an exclusive bridal salon, a car suddenly screeches to a halt and Amanda is pulled inside. A high-speed chase ensues. As Dex forces the kidnapper's car onto the sidewalk, Amanda breaks free. It is clear that Yuri, the Prince's chief bodyguard, is behind the kidnap plot. Steven requests Luke accompany him to Amanda's wedding. Adam and Claudia profess their love. Dex receives a telegram bearing tragic news. In Los Angeles, an amnesiac Fallon appears at a police station, asking for assistance.

Dex informa a Krystle de que Daniel ha muerto. Steven se enfurece cuando Sammy Jo decide luchar por la custodia de su hijo en los tribunales. Amanda y Alexis llegan a Moldavia y son recibidas por el Príncipe Michael y su padre el Rey Galen. Jeff propone matrimonio a Ashley. Sammy Jo descubre que, aunque es la heredera de Daniel, su fortuna será puesta en un fideicomiso con Krystle como albacea. Al encontrar a Michael en los brazos de su antigua novia Elena, Amanda le devuelve su anillo de compromiso. Yuri observa desde las sombras cómo Dex la consuela.
Dex tells a devastated Krystle that Daniel Reece is dead. Steven is outraged when Sammy Jo decides to fight for custody of her son in court. Amanda and Alexis arrive in Moldavia and are greeted by Prince Michael and his father, King Galen. Jeff proposes marriage to Ashley. Sammy Jo learns that although she's Daniel's beneficiary, her monies will be held in trust with Krystle as executor. Finding former fiancée Elena in Michael's arms, Amanda tosses her engagement ring at the prince and dashes out. Yuri watches from the shadows as Dex comforts her.

Elena confiesa a Amanda que no pasó nada cuando estuvo con Michael en el dormitorio. Sammy Jo convence a su compañera de piso Rita para que use una peluca rubia y practique la forma de hablar de Krystle. Fallon ha elegido un nombre nuevo, Randall Adams, y se dirige a Denver.
Dex es secuestrado por Yuri y sus secuaces antes de que Amanda y Michael pronuncien sus votos de matrimonio. Dex escapa de sus captores y corre hacia la capilla, donde los terroristas abren fuego contra todos los asistentes a la boda...
Elena confesses to Amanda that nothing happened in the bedroom with Prince Michael. Sammy Jo fits her roommate Rita with a blonde wig and has her practice duplicating Krystle's voice. Fallon has chosen a new name, Randall Adams, and heads for Denver.
Dex is kidnapped by Yuri and his gang as Amanda and Michael recite their wedding vows. Dex breaks free from his captors and heads for the chapel, where terrorists have opened fire on the entire wedding party.
