"Larry was one of the most wonderful, giving actors I have had the honor to work with. He always came to work with a smile and an upbeat attitude. You just knew that he loved playing J.R. Ewing and was constantly trying to make him a more interesting character. We lost an icon, a legend and an American who brought the world together to watch the saga of the Ewings. Because of Larry, when you mention "Dallas" anywhere in the world, people smile and say "J.R."!"
"Larry era uno de los actores más maravillosos y generosos con los que he tenido el honor de trabajar. Siempre llegaba con una sonrisa y una actitud positiva. Se notaba que le encantaba interpretar a J.R. Ewing y siempre intentaba hacerle más interesante. Hemos perdido a un icono, a una leyenda y a un norteamericano que unió al mundo para que viese la saga de los Ewing. Gracias a Larry, cuando se menciona a "Dallas" en cualquier lugar del mundo, la gente sonríe y dice: "¡J.R."!"
