The Clairvoyant Approach Part 2:
The Indirect Direction
Lecture based Questions:
1. Draw or describe a reminder or symbol of one of your helpers.
What a lovely moment: send gratitude to an angel, guide, ancestor, nature spirit, or friend who has always been rooting for you and giving you helpful advice or brought you connections for success.
2. Why the funny name?
We are now getting into the subtle techniques that are necessary for both successful living and successful clairvoyance.
It is the normal tendency to charge in and get things done without questioning the situation. Then we want to barge out and do the next "important" project. You must learn to leave yourself behind at the door. You are not your hormones or feelings. If you spend your days reacting to the commands/needs of others, then you need to leave them at the door as well. You are not your usefulness, even though it rewards you with emotional validation.
Why is this wrong? We are biologically and sociologically designed to function this way. Well, this is the challenge of the game of life. Okay, one of its challenges. If we are all about the physical stimulus, then we are not about the energies that cause the physical experience. When we fall for the illusion that this physical experience is the big picture, then we are like the markers on a game board. A pawn on the chess board is not in control of the game.
I'm NOT saying to tune out of this life and be a nonfunctional parasite on society. It is good to be here in this life; we learn so much about thinking on our feet! It is wonderful to do a good job, help people when asked, be cheerful and productive members of society. These things all build character, which is the measure of the soul.
However, successful life and clairvoyant sensing are NOT about saving the day, changing the world, turning other people to your cause, or gaining power in the universe. Those issues are about the illusion. There is greater power and peace underneath the surface.
Successful life and clairvoyant sensing are all about being aware and thinking ahead. To this end, we have dedicated this lesson to three distinct types of approaches with which you might find success in your endeavors to becoming happier, more aware, and more effective. We do not improve the quality of anything by willfully using our hands and mouths. It behooves us to remember that this physical world responds lethargically to many of your decisions and commands. There are many factors at play, and each situation—nay, each moment— should be factored as unique and full of wonder and opportunity.
3. What are the approaches?
1] THE NARROWING OF THE EYES is a physical and mental state in which the three lower bodies are aligned as a single unit. The Astral Body is hushed and all its hormonal resources are channeled into generating a correct balance of serotonin, endorphin, and certain trophin chemicals in the physical body. The hunting mode is dialed into the functioning of the brain and lymbic system so that faint changes in the environment can be readily seen. The body is alert and relaxed. The thoughts are blank and open. We achieve this state by squinting slightly (narrowing the eyes) and inquiring non-verbally into the nature of our investigation. This also works well in folding time and other sutra exercises.
2] LAISSEZ FAIRE is the path of non-interference on the physical plane. It associates the Divine Plan with the manifestation of the apparent reality. When your mind is focused on the invisible strings that connect everything and everyone to each other (I’m not talking about cords) and the interactions of our thoughts, actions, and desires upon each other, we increasingly come to the place of mind where one’s own life is seen as the source for global redemption. Not as a mission or a great work. Not as a powerful teaching presence. Merely, as a point of very strong light that can transform the people in contact and spread outward from that point into the endless reaches of the universe. Here we change the quality of a single life—your own. Through this simple and yet challenging act, ripples of Divine Energy transform the fabric of life for many others, human and non-human. It takes daily stamina, focus away from distraction, intimacy with the self, and continual blessing of personal contacts.
3] VIEWING LIFE THROUGH THE EYES OF YOUR GUARDIAN ANGEL is an exercise that is not required to be continual nor natural, but becomes easier with practice and experience. Why do you have a Guardian Angel? So that you can ignore her constant advice and still small voice of calm? So that you can pretend that nobody loves you or understands you? So that you can feel sorry for yourself that there are no answers to your questions? Of course not! Get the point. Your Guardian Angel is your ticket to a better life from one hour to the next. She can tell you which street has lighter traffic. She can help you to prepare for the day in the most practical and efficient manner. She can help you to disentangle your life in a gentle and serene path. All you have to do is speak to her in your mind. Eventually you will get the hang of sending and receiving thought pictures. You will learn to understand energy direction instead of relying on language as a method of communication. This is the greatest tool for high-quality telepathy. Stop dithering and begin the changes by simply becoming aware of slight pressures in the body and tingles here or there on your head or extremities. This is the beginning of translucence.
4. What is the correct way to approach desire and fantasy?
Every concept in your consciousness is connected to a thought form. It is a good idea to remember this because sometimes you are not the source of these archetypes or impulses. Worst case scenario is that you have absorbed or attached a thought form from someone else. In an ideal setting, you are receiving inspiration from a Firiel Angel who has placed a good idea into your Mental Body. First, decide whether or not you like the idea. Is it up to your quality of standards? Does it suit your personality? Does it sound like fun? Does it improve the quality of life from what you now experience? If so, then it is good to move on to the next phase.
Plan a strategy in order to actuate this idea. If this is beyond your ability, then affirm that God manifests the idea in a perfect way. Might as well say the affirmation anyway! Then, whenever the idea crosses your mind, repeat the affirmation and feel happy and grateful that this wonderful thing is coming to pass in your life.
Avoid entertaining enactments of the fantasy in your mind, as this interferes with your effectiveness in daily living. Instead, say the affirmation and return to your present task.
5. What does Indirect Direction mean?
While we are incarnated, trying to see the higher realities (that are standing right next to us) with physical vision or direct action will only serve to frustrate us. We must learn to honor that which we see at the corner of the eye. We must learn to give thanks for the perfume that isn’t in the room but which we still enjoy. We must learn to respond to the summons and the person who calls us out of need but did it without being in the room or using words. Thoughts are louder than speech, but we have done a good job of driving that sense down into dismissal.
In manifestation, we strive to change our quality of physical life by changing our Astral Bodies. What is more indirect than that? Practice in nonsensical exercises that have no personal meaning only serve to separate the subconscious mind from the true purpose and meaning of our own realities. Therefore, what we really want to do is to go about our daily lives in peaceful feelings. When something needs improvement, we make it through affirmation and reprogramming the Astral Body. When we contact another person and we see that they could use some blessing, we say, “Thank you God for healing __________’s life” or something like this. When someone comes to us for help, we judiciously and cautiously lend a hand with an eye to avoid interfering with that person’s desires or entertaining savior impulses in ourselves. In our own happiness, we rely on God alone and the Divine Power of the network of Angels and helpers, teachers and friends to give us the wisdom, love, support and goodness that we need in life.
6. Exercise: Tabula Rasa
•You are just sitting and enjoying the day. You may have some pain or worries, but put them in this bowl in front of you. Relax. Breathe normally. Envision peaceful blue Light in front, behind, and all around you.
•Use this time to examine your Astral Body for a moment. These are the hands you envision and then realize with a shock that your physical hands do not match exactly. This is the face that you expect to see in the mirror. This is the body that can do all the things you feel you should be able to do. Relax and regard this body and how it might be different from the physical one that you now inhabit.
•What was that tension? Fix it by saying “Thank you God, for making this right. I believe in God’s perfect timing all day everyday. We are blessed, we are supported, we are fulfilled in God’s time in God’s way.”
•Now say, “Thank you God, for healing my Astral Body and all its related systems and manifestations. In Divine Mind, I am healed, strong, youthful, beautiful, happy, and surrounded by loving friends.”
Thank you God, for this beautiful day, chock-a-block full of blessings.
