Dying Consciously
Lecture based Questions:
1. Draw or describe a reminder or symbol of one of your helpers.
You have hundreds of helpers—angels, friends and loved ones, guides, Masters, teachers, nature spirits, animals, and ancestors. Pick one and record your memories of a contact, such as a perfume, a symbol, a color, or a message.
2. Do we get to choose the manner of our deaths?
The answer to this lies in the reason for doing so, the path of will force that tempts us all, and the ways in which we make our progressive choices in life. For the most part, our circumstances of death are already decided before we pass into this incarnation.
At the final meeting before birth with the Kindel Archangel, several alternatives of death are presented to the spiritual student. One usually tends to choose the scenario that is most advantageous karmically. Meaning, we often choose the type of death that also pays off the most personal karma. Remember, there are expensive ways to die, messy ways to die, painful ways to die, heroic ways to die, quick ways to die, frustrating ways, stupid ways, melodramatic ways, exciting ways, traumatic ways, tortuous ways to die. However, there is no bad way to die. All choices have their benefits, and all deaths accumulate personal power of some amount.
3. What about suicide?
Despite the taboos about suicide, it is not an unforgivable sin to take one’s own life. The lower Astral World is full of “patients” who have gone with suicide and are recovering from the emotional illnesses that brought on the act. Many find themselves in dark, foggy, depressing surroundings that reflect their consciousness during the time that brought on the suicidal impulses. Missionaries regularly explore these nether regions to bring hope, help, and direction to these poor spirits. Others awaken in hospital situations where they receive emotional therapy and training for recovery. We always go where we expect to go or to an environment that would seem familiar to us, no matter what the manner of death might have been.
The reasons for suicide are nearly as many as the ways to commit it. Some are karmic, some are sacrificial, some are willful, and some are influenced by mischief makers. We are not here to judge others nor to police their karmic destiny. Our jobs are to mind our own kettles and make sure that our lives follow the Divine Plan as closely as we have the capacity to fulfill them.
The karmic consequences for suicide are as varied as the reasons for taking your own life. However, the universal laws of action and responsibility always are constant. If one acts unappreciatively for the opportunities of life, then life will be denied later at a time when it is desperately wanted. Some miscarriages are enacted this way, and some untimely death illnesses or accidents also occur because of this law.
If one of your loved ones has died by his or her own hand, you may give comfort and support to this person by following a protocol similar to the following. Please note that this type of communication is warm, fuzzy, and nice for anybody, whether dead or alive:
•Speak frequently to the suicide, expressing your constant and unconditional love for that person.
•Send thoughts of encouragement and inspiring words to him/her.
•Imagine this person surrounded by transformational, gigantic, strong angels that bring healing, peace, strength, purpose, and energy.
•Picture the person dressed in bright, happy colors, enjoying sports, entertainment, recreation, learning, friendship, beautiful surroundings, and new exciting influences.
4. What about assisted deaths?
When an animal friend is suffering from a painful and fatal condition, it is considered to be a loving act to put the animal to sleep. The drugs used for this are so fast now that the body is dead before the injection has finished. There is some discomfort during this process, but not more than a bad bowel problem, and the experience is so quick that it almost does not register in the mind. To do this before the animal is emotionally ready, however, sometimes puts the relationship at odds, because the animal will feel betrayed, shunted off, and abandoned.
If a human friend who is suffering in the same way wishes to end his or her own life, you do not have the right to dissuade her/him. It is important to remember, however, that suffering is a very potent path and earns lots of personal power points. If you can stick it out, then the rewards are great.
5. What is the best way to metaphysically plan one’s own demise?
I have yet to see a death that occurred in accordance to the person’s expressed preference. Perhaps this is part of the benefits of death in the physical plane—the personality’s difficulty in the circumstances creates added karmic benefit. I have also seen several predictions for death come to nothing or be bypassed due to choices that the person has made.
Here is probably the most effective way to make some influence on what is probably a preset outcome (as a result of a series of life choices, I might add). Beginning as early in life as possible, write on paper and read aloud the scenario that strikes you as most suitable. How old will you be? Where in the world will you be? What kind of environment will it be? What will you be wearing? What will be the state of your health? Your finances? Your relationships? Who will be with you? Who will find your body? What will happen to your body? Being as clear and as physically participating in these plans will make a difference if enacted early enough in the chain of life choices.
6. Exercise: Reading Energy Fields Part I
There are many layers to a person’s aura. Here we explore some basic Etheric and Astral activities. I suggest that you invoke the Spirit of Truth first, and remain open to your helpers for information.
Remember, the brain translates 4th Dimensional information into a metaphor that the 3rd Dimensional brain can understand. Don't take the answers literally, but interpret them as answers to your appropriate questions.
•Porous or Crystallized—is the subject receptive to Divine Light and inspiration? You are checking for a picture in your mind of clarity that allows light in. Porous is translucent; Crystallized is hard, usually dark and opaque. This reflects the capacity for blessings and inspiration to enter one's life.
•Mucky or Clear—is the aura thick with yucky stuff or clean and transparent?
•Thought Forms—are there any shapes moving from or to the subject or stationed in the aura?
•Colors—what recognizable colors are in the aura, are they moving to someone or moving from someone?
•Cables—where are they connecting to the person, and how thick are they, what colors are they, how strong are they?
•HEF (Health Energy Field) Width—how wide is the Etheric Body extending outward from the body? How far do other types of fields extend from the body?
•Chakra Activity—closed or open? damaged or healthy? correct size or disproportioned? colors? polarization in the correct direction?
