The Quickening and The Processions
Lecture based Questions:
1. What is The Quickening and how does it affect us? What is its purpose? Where does it come from?
The Quickening is a benediction from the Planetary Logos. It comes forth from the crown chakra of the Logos during the fall equinox to give a life-giving impetus—a push—which resembles a tidal wave of light and color. It begins on the 8th dimension and then descends into the lower dimensions. We begin to feel it around the winter solstice or sooner.
2. Is there a function fulfilled by processions other than mere celebration? How many are there around the solstice time?
Processions and festivals rev up new energy for religious and spiritual groups. They occur on the Astral, Mental, and Soulic planes. During the solstice there are five or six processions taking place to include several religious groups.
3. Who participates in the processions of blessing? Do all religions have processions?
Everyone attends a religious celebration who is currently involved in that specific religion or spiritual group. Also, if a person has practiced a certain faith in a past life and has positive feelings about the experience will also come to the festivity. The Christmas Procession is different. All peoples participate, for Christ is Lord of All Religions.
4. Why do some call the winter solstice the Turning Point?
When the sun hits the Tropic of Capricorn, it then begins to move back northward. For the northern hemisphere, Etheric bodies are at the lowest ebb. It is time for reflection and rest. For the southern hemisphere, Etheric bodies are at their highest flow, making it time for creation and new endeavors.
5. Are there traditions of the holiday season that are helpful to us? Which traditions would be better left out of our lives? Why is this a traditional time for family gatherings?
The season’s traditions of gathering, generosity, reverence, and deference to children are as old as humanity and are very valuable The Planetary Logos gives a zing to our higher impulses. Modern pressures to spend beyond income and to shop when there is no time are soul-depleting. The pulling together of family is instinctive at the solstice.
6. Exercise: Hara Line to the Planetary Logos
Running through your body (something like a wishbone) is the hara line. It runs up through the soles of the feet, joins at the trunk of the body, and exits through the crown chakra. This is an extension of the Etheric body of the Planetary Logos.
You may feel more connected to Gaia by following your hara line into the earth and joining with the massive energy body that exists at a concentrated level at the volcanic mantle. Then observe the pale green-silvery mist that rises up from this mantle and extends outward about two-and-a-half miles above sea level. Feel yourself immersed in this swirling bank of energy, and know that you are not just in it, but are an integral part of it.
You may address the Planetary Logos by sensing the constantly vibrating warm energy of Gaia life and consciousness. For us, this entity is only giving and supporting. We are the children. We are the expressions of creativity.
When we focus our intention on the Planetary Logos, we have instant access to healing energy on physical, emotional, and mental levels. We do this by giving thanks to the Logos for restoring harmony to us on all levels of our being.
7. Draw or describe one of your helpers.
Out of your hundreds of helpers, think of one who has been with you lately and record your impressions.

The Deep of Midwinter
At the ebbing of the year, we come to the sacred fulcrum of Soulic response, namely the wave of Light that we call The Quickening and The Processions of Benediction. These resolve the shortcomings of the previous year and set the tone of redemption for the year to come.
First of all, what is a year to a cricket or to a mouse? The days and nights fly by as they scurry through their struggles of survival and reproduction. The passage of time is nothing to natural beings excepting the change of temperature and climate. The ancient civilizations did not consider a year to begin until springtime. The designation of any new year’s date is arbitrary at most, and usually hinges on solar and moon phases and other astrological data. The western new year was not created until 1582 by Pope Gregory XIII, who standardized the calendar into the four year solar-based cycle that we use today—the Gregorian calendar.
The number of the year we celebrate is also arbitrary. A monk named Dionysius Exiguus (AD 525) established the use of anno Domini and before Christ to mark a new millennium for the western world (Astronomers calculate the actual date to be around August 22, 7 BC).The Hebrew calendar lunar year begins from their date of creation (3760 BC) and the Islam calendar solar year begins from the date that Mohammed fled from Mecca to Medina (AD July 16, 622).
The winter solstice has a much more constant meaning and celebration history. The ancients all held festivals around it—the Chinese, the Sumerians, the Africans, the Romans, the Druids all held similar rituals of Light, generosity, and joviality. Even the Christians coordinated their Christian season with the Roman Saturnalia holiday so to be less conspicuous in their faith. (Jesus had been born in March.) Some of the old ways are returning in a light-hearted spirit of pantheism. Our society accumulates Grace as it increases in tolerance and assimilation of all good things.
Now to the core of the time, we shall begin with a description of The Quickening. From the highest reaches of vibration in the aura of the Planetary Logos, we observe the essence of refreshment flowing forth into the lower dimensions. You could call it the diastole and systole of the Planetary Logos. From the crown chakra of the Monad of Gaia sings forth a fountain of life-giving energy. It is the essence of benediction. It is the source of beauty as we know it. It is the substance from which arises all things good.
The time of this bathing of life varies according to the needs of the physical planet. In anticipation of a difficult northern winter, The Quickening can be felt as early as mid-October. During a year that has a mild northern winter, the first influence can be felt as late as early November. However, for the sake of easy understanding, we will explain the cycle based on a standard length of season.
The first tendrils of this rarefied and transforming Light seep into the Adonaic dimension around the autumnal equinox—as the sun marks the equator on the way down to the southern hemisphere. The light that changes the old into the new begins its annual descent by tinging the Adonai bodies of everyone belonging to this planet. All thoughts are refreshed, all burdens viewed from a higher perspective. When the seventh dimension is completely saturated with this blessing of Light, it makes its way down to the sixth dimension.
The Soulic dimension usually receives The Quickening around the American Thanksgiving holiday. You may perceive it as a lightness in the air, or a coolness without lowering the temperature. It energizes and increases every soul body and replenishes the fabric of the sixth dimension with causal atoms.
By the time the tide of life enters the mental world, it is usually the beginning of December. One may remark this transition by the general air of excited ideas floating through the atmosphere. The challenge is to remain focused on the duties at hand as a myriad creative projects beg to be started. Colors seem more vivid to the physical eye, and enthusiasm increases.
The astral world receives the benediction close to a week and a half before solstice. A general feeling of good will and high energy ensue—what we call the holiday spirit. Such is the grace of the season that one may expiate negative karma fairly easily during this period of dispensation. Acts of generosity or kindness carry more momentum now than during other times of the year.
The physical world absorbs the vibrations of The Quickening on the eve of solstice. It is a great time for healing during restfulness and for spiritual insight during meditation. The physical body is particularly receptive to the higher worlds during these days.
Just as the physical body assimilate nutrients and energy from food, the lower realms assimilate the replenishing blessings of The Quickening into their dimensional matter. A separate cycle begins with the spring equinox, as the Planetary Logos ingests blessings and nourishment from higher sources. The Quickening does not go away, but it gradually dissipates in the course of the year until the next one is generated again by the Planetary Logos.

The grand Procession of Benediction that encompasses all religions and all the citizens of mankind occurs on Christmas Eve, as all Christ-revering minds turn to Him. This festival is a celebration of humanity for the sake of our redemption, development, and future enlightenments. There will be no other time in our evolution like this one. Here we are poised on the verge of wisdom, and the momentum of our progress is slowly beginning to turn upward with increasing power. We celebrate The Son and His Age of Grace. We celebrate the challenges of the year to come and our progress yet unmade. All interested parties join our gathering from other solar systems and from planets within our solar aura. It is a most deep and yet exultant moment of the cycle.
In the Astral and Mental worlds, many “civilians” tend to gather together in anticipation of the procession that will begin on Christmas Eve. It’s similar to spectators camping out for the Rose Bowl Parade. They party a little and look forward to the show. There are many such processions throughout the year, but this is the only one in which the Christ Office is highlighted. This event permeates all areas of the lower Astral World, and all life forms are witness to it—even people imprisoned in bardos of neuroses.
This is the order of the procession: the representatives of the Logi, the Lords, the Christ, the Masters, then the 4th, 3rd, 2nd, and 1st degree initiates. Interplanetary visitors join the assemblage according to their initiatory equivalency. We are there whether we are asleep or not. The event kicks off at midnight over Jerusalem on the Etheric level and in the Holy City in the higher realms. As the planet rotates under the gathering, the assembly seems to process across the physical planet. In the Astral and Mental worlds, the benediction is broadcasted through ripples of Divine Energy. As the Christ energy passes through the geographic area, the benediction is implanted as a thought form in the auras of all living beings.
The Hebrew religion holds its special festival on the Astral plane during Hanukkah. All who enjoy the Jewish traditions attend for the sake of old lifetimes or as involvement in a present incarnation. Commemorating a battle of rebellion against imperial Rome, it is not the most reverent or spiritually significant time for this astral group, but the holiday spirit permeates it with a sense of joy and life-affirmation. The festival of Light and miracle are its common threads that join it with solstice.
Ramadan and Kwanzaa also take place during the week of solstice, and they represent the more ancient traditions of death and rebirth. Fasting followed by feasting occur both on the physical and astral planes, accompanied by religious dramas and ceremonies.

The New Year of any society is blessed by the Planetary and Solar Logi. Because this arbitrary date occurs throughout the year for different calendars, each group of celebrants receives its own unique keynote and benediction. It is a message of faith and good will for those in incarnation, for the burdens of each physical life need a boost of energy and hope during the new year.
Where the Sanat Kumara dwells is the height of heaven as we imagine it. There all things are holy and all beings are ancient. On the path of the annual blessing for this western calendar, we begin at a place that represents the beginning of life on this planet, far beyond our human memory and far beyond the last ice age. This strong and sacrosanct monument is the stronghold of wisdom that has come and wisdom in potential. The Holy Twelve who bless the various peoples of this earth come together and broadcast forth the gentle and nurturing thought-energy of the Planetary Logos. The Holy Twelve is a rotating office of Lords. These serve the Planetary Logos. In the year 2006 those who filled the office were 1.Emmanuel, 2.Buddha, 3.Manu, 4.Maha Chohan, 5.Eridor, 6.Mary, 7.Krishna, 8.Matreya, 9.Nanda, 10.Stella Maris, 11.Chak Shuka, 12.Sanat Kumara.
