Entities, Elementals, Intelligences, & Angels

Lecture based Questions:

1. A. Why is it important to know about non-physical beings (including our own superphysical bodies)?

When you are aware of the myriad people around you who are helping you or living alongside you, you will never feel alone again. In addition, it is useful to keep in mind that your fellow travelers in the universe are connected to you in profound ways. Your thoughts and actions affect their thoughts and actions, and visa versa. Your success instigates their successes, and theirs inspires yours.

B. Are there intelligences on every dimensional level, including the first and second dimensions?

Yes. Life and consciousness are everywhere, all around us. We are truly part of a magnificent network of life and Light.

2. How often do we receive communications from other beings?

All the time. We might not be conscious of the sendings or the communications. In this world of illusion, we tend to think that we are isolated and that communication is words only. However, if you are sensitive to the feelings and thoughts of all life forms, you are in for a rich existence of an endless family to love and be loved by.

3. How can we determine which thoughts are our own?

Relatively few thoughts are original. We often catch ideas and feelings from living and not living folks. If we are not clear about our own unique persons, then it is easy to confuse someone else’s ideas and feelings with our own. Everyone has a unique signature essence, and your expressions bear that energy signature or feeling. Also, if an idea or emotion pops into your mind that is not smoothly connected to what you were just thinking, then it is probably not yours.

4. A. What are the best ways to protect oneself from the influences of Lower Astral Entities?

Donna Eden has a wonderful technique that I like to call “Zip it, Lock it, and put it in your pocket.” She starts from the pubic point and zips protection up the front of your body to the lower lip and locks it. Then she zips from the bottom of the tailbone up the spine, over the head to the top lip and locks it. Then I put the key in my pocket and laugh.

There are many protection techniques that you can use.

One is a white cross about the size of your body in front of you.

Another one is to sing St. Patrick’s breastplate.

Another one is to pass your flat hand in front of you and say, “Protection; nobody sees me except for safety’s sake.”

You can also do a Triple Ring Pass Not, which is three spinning gold rings that encompass you and spin in different directions at different speeds.

B. What are the “calling cards” that clue us in on lower level thoughts that are not our own?

Exercise: Sensing Your Own Signature Essence

In Stillness, you can feel your own essence by focusing your attention to your shoulders close to your neck. Especially around the left back/side of your next. You can approximate the area by cupping your left hand around your lower ear/head/neck area. The reason why we do not usually focus on our own essence is because we are accustomed to ourselves. The sensation should be familiar, warm, and comfortable, similar to putting on an old bathrobe.

A lower level thought that is not your own is discernable in the following ways.

1. The idea is not in keeping with your train of logic or philosophy.

2. Your emotional reaction is not related to the circumstances.

3. The suggestion of the thought is destructive.

C. In contrast, what are the “calling cards” of sendings from higher level intelligences?

Angels usually send in a fragrance signature that is floral. My Guardian Angel uses a scent from a hand lotion that I used as a child and that no longer exists. These lovely perfume messages are not the literal scents of the angels themselves. They send the stimulation to our brains and our brains translate these messages as the beautiful smells that remind us of them.

Messages from higher beings are always supportive, nurturing, corrective, and positive. They are never negative or suggesting destructive behavior.

Masters or teachers usually have a feeling about them that is solid, bright, accessible, comfortable, and patient.

5. Scrying Exercise: Automatic Writing

In a meditative state, the channel waits with writing implements. If there is an ongoing connection between the channel and the sender, there is very little preparation. An initial contact may be established through prayer and the request for guidance. A Master will usually contact the channel first and instruct her or him to prepare for the writing process. The channel is always fully conscious, extremely focused of thought, and in a peaceful emotional state. This is a good exercise for strengthening the skills of focused awareness and receptivity.

6. Why and how does this work? What would be the most appropriate use of this technique?

The throat, third eye, and crown chakras dilate. The information passes into the pineal gland and is translated to the frontal lobes via hormones. The left hemisphere/conscious mind and the right hemisphere/subconscious mind work together to allow the writing hand to move and record data without necessarily being processed in the critical thought path.

In other words, the ideas pop into your head and you either write them down as the words come one at a time, or you just allow your hand to record the words without them registering in your mind.

7. Draw or describe one of your helpers.

To remember our helpers --hundreds of them!-- is to always feel connected to the vast Network of Light.

Our Neighbors and Teammates

The universe can be likened to a great organism populated by smaller organisms that interact with each other and move to perpetuate the health and development of the whole. In this way, we can also view the model of the physical body with its billions of cells and microscopic lives that live independently yet are dependent on each other for the life-giving ecosystem of the body.

Each of us has our place and purpose in the universe—a purpose that reaches far beyond any single lifetime. What we are on the highest level resonates to our lowest levels and guides us through whatever difficulties, neuroses, and karmic debts that we may have accumulated throughout our experiences. In other words, no matter how many detours we make, we are still heading toward the ultimate goal, which was imprinted upon us at the inception of the Monad. No matter how many downward turns we take, we will without question wind up at the point of high service that we were created to fulfill.

This applies to all forms of life in all dimensions.

Elementals

When you were born into this world, you were surrounded already by several lower life forms (elementals) that existed on the energy of your thoughts and emotions. They are always with us and will eventually evolve (with our help) to have higher intelligence and greater spiritual resonance. These are typically small and innocuous, enjoying the companionship and drama of daily existence. Let us bless them now.

When we become attached to physical objects, our repetitious feelings create a accretion of emotional energy that becomes an elemental. These elementals are the children of our thoughts and energies. Our kindly or hostile emotions shape the natures of these beings, and they become either our allies or our enemies. This one reason why we should practice kindness—with all things, animate or inanimate—and why we should address everything with respect and prayer.

Neurosis begins when the relationship between ourselves and these small entities takes on a dynamic shift. They reach the point where they understand that their own desires can interfere with the natural flow of our own. The astral energies act upon our hormones and our instinctive reactions. If the host is aware of his or her own energies, one can maintain control over one’s responses. Also, praying for our younger brothers and sisters will benefit our relationships with them and also their development.

Demons

If a host reacts negatively (such as with anger or despair) to her or his own karmic situations, an elemental can be opportunistic and latch on to a desire point. this is where addictive and compulsive behavior begins. Not only does the elemental create desire impulses for the host to gratify in a cyclic manner, but eventually the elemental accumulates great energy reserves and the power to influence. In classic addiction, the host becomes the pet of the elemental, which by this time could be properly called a demon. Addictions take many forms beyond substance abuse. The host can become addicted to an emotional state, a relationship, an activity, or an attitude. It is well to remember that the host has been responsible for the care and feeding of this demon or demons. The host is also responsible for its redemption.

Prayer inviting Grace to intervene in this cycle is very effective. Anyone involved in Seventh Ray activities must focus on the issue of addiction, either through experience or by vicarious observance. None of us escape this issue, as it is vitally important in the development of our inner strength and abilities to command Light.

Mischief Makers

Mischief-makers are attracted to people who practice a victim consciousness. They enjoy startling and frightening their targets in various forms of expression. These entities range in origin from other planetary systems to our own brothers and sisters of the Earth Logos. Our prayers for them will help us and them immensely. They are on a divergent path that you could call vampirism, as they feed on the fear and distress of their victims. They need our help to release them from their momentum. Then they can resume the path of Light.

Companions of Light

Throughout the many lifetimes of our experience, we gather unto ourselves a host of friends and loved ones. This is part of the reason why we must endure the physical experience. The intensity of our labors creates a bond like no other. The struggle itself generates a passionate energy that enables us to appreciate our fellow Walkers of the Path. We become connected with spiritual bonds that allow us to call upon each other in times of need, to celebrate with each other in times of joy. We are never alone.

Mentors and Teachers

Imagine a day in which all choices were correct, all testings were seen for their value, and the separation of one’s viewpoint from the environment was complete and objective. These are the qualities that our Helpers are striving to cultivate in us so that we may eventually join their ranks and help the vast numbers of humankind in need of similar guidance. It is a golden chain of good, increased link by link until we are all connected.

As soon as we reach the First Degree of Initiation, we are earmarked by certain Teachers, who share common interests and purpose. We continue our relationships with them indefinitely, and we create new bonds with others constantly. Teachers, Mentors, and Masters have the ability to attend to many students and acolytes at any given time. They are never too busy to chide us for wrong choices or encourage us to make right ones. Our links to them are our sincerely made requests for guidance. We are never alone.

Angels

From the beginning of the Monad, Angels have been attending and helping us through all phases of existence. Angels are sustained through their activity. They never tire, and they exist by definition to serve the Divine Will. Angelic help waits for your request. Angels will not help when someone makes a willful request. They readily help when asked for guidance, emotional assistance, and physical intervention if it is in the best interest of the person’s spiritual development. We are never alone in our efforts.
