Divine Intervention
or
Living like a Third Degree Initiate
Lecture based Questions:
1. Draw or describe a reminder or symbol of one of your helpers.
You have hundreds of helpers. They wait for you to ask for assistance and then they step in and give you guidance or protection. Some merely send you good wishes and pray for your success and happiness. They are your loved ones, your soul mate, your angels, teachers, guides, and Masters. Choose one now that has been on your mind lately and write down a color, fragrance, message, or symbol that comes to you.
2. What is Divine Intervention and how does it enter our lives?
DI is the means by which our helpers, teachers, and Angelic Supervisors (namely, everyone who serves the Light) strike inroads into our thinking to stimulate enlightenment. It can manifest as a change of events, a remark made by a stranger, a rescue from danger, or take on many other types of form within the space of our lives. The operative part of a DI that sets it above normal action or experience is the transcendent power that it has over the consciousness. Strictly speaking, you could define it as an event that changes one’s thinking from personal experience to information beyond one’s wisdom.
3. Can we invite Divine Intervention? Are there limits to its influence?
Yes, of course DI must be invited in order to act upon us. DI belongs to the collection of energies and servants that we call God. The cardinal rule for all who serve Light is to not act unless requested. Sometimes that request is direct and clear. Sometimes it is implied or runs as an Astral contract. However we express an invitation for help, it opens certain portals in the aura that allow Light to enter and for help to come.
From a clairvoyant view, patches of darkness clear away from the Astral perimeter of the aura. The Angel of Inspiration inserts thought forms and bursts of energy through these openings. The angelic input creates permanent change in the Astral body. This means that the subconscious mind has a shift in what it expects and allows in physical reality. If the subconscious mind believes that good things can happen, then they will manifest obediently. If the subconscious mind accepts that God can make life dynamic and blessed beyond one’s limited imaginings, then quantum changes can really happen.
DI must be invoked from the Astral (subconscious) level. The conscious mind cannot easily penetrate the emotional barriers that we erect over years and lifetimes of negative or self-involved thinking. Therefore, some part of the belief system must allow for DI to exist in a person’s reality. This is why you may call out in vain for physical salvation during times of danger and breakdown. Your conscious mind finds it convenient to ask for Divine Help in order to avoid pain and loss. However, the subconscious mind is saying, “What’s this? I went to a lot of trouble to choreograph this particular incident, and nothing is going to stop the fruits of my labor. The nerve of trying to sabotage my crisis!” Here you can see the dichotomy between the conscious and subconscious view of life.
We can condition the Astral Body to be receptive to Divine Help through specific affirmations to that effect.
•I believe in God’s perfect timing all day, every day.
•Wherever I go, God is.
•This is my best month yet.
•God leads me on a golden highway of success and blessing.
•Divine Intervention feels free to step into the corners, crowded places, and open spaces of my life all the time.
•Thank you God, for slicing through my dense nature and showing me the way things should be.
•Beyond time and beyond space, I invoke the Divine Presence to be active in every particle of my living.
•Thank you God, for my new, improved attitude!
•Thank you God, for enlightenment without suffering for _____________ and for me too!
•The Light always transcends every limitation of the physical.
4. Who is more likely to experience DI?
Here is the key to miracles and DI being active abundantly in your life—simple faith is stronger than any magic, faster than any thought, and deeper than any complicated philosophy. You gotta keep it simpul, mon. You could call it innocence. You could call it the way of the saint. You could call it the Practice of the Presence of God. You could call it potato chips. All could be possibly be correct—even the last one by a long, long, convoluted stretch of logic. But all would describe a direct link between the subconscious mind and the Workers of Light.
This is why people who practice a religion based on miraculous healing or magical intervention can get some really good Juju going through their prayer work.
Of course, 3DIs know this, and practice it assiduously. You could say that the mission, the livelihood, and the well-being of a 3DI are sustained through Divine Intervention almost exclusively.
5. What is the meaning of the phrase “The Light always transcends every limitation of the physical?”
This is a statement of affirmation that pertains to the nature of Divine Intervention at its every level. It describes the fact that there are no laws prohibiting the effectiveness of Light. No matter how things look, God can push through. No matter what the nature of events might be, God can pierce through any veil and make redemption happen. That’s what makes something miraculous in the first place! It’s unbelievable, yet it happened!
Imagine if you will, a chess set in play. The pieces of the chess set are alive with a well-structured doctrine. Each believes that it can only move in a prescribed manner. All the pieces accept the rules imposed upon the game as natural law, impossible and unthinkable to change. Now, imagine a human not involved in the game taking each piece and placing them in a non-prescribed position, some even off the board and in other areas of the room. The creed of the game has been transcended, yet the pieces are still themselves. This can be something like the action of DI in a person's life.
Let us use the example of healing through DI. It doesn’t matter what you are wearing, what you ate, or how many sit-ups you did to gain vibrant good health by DI. What does matter is your belief system.
During energy healing, we can observe that the practitioner is receiving Divine Golden Light through the crown chakra. It channels through the practitioner’s being in several possible modes. It commonly passes through the hands in the form of healing blue Light. In other healing schools, it passes through the Golden Flower at the center top ridge of the forehead as Golden Light. In any technique that uses Divine Power rather than personal power, the status quo of both parties changes. The work that the healer is doing creates a vibrational change in his/her own body, making her/him feel more energized, harmonious, alert. The client experiences relaxation, a lightness of being, a brightening of the room. The patient’s body finds relief of symptoms at the Etheric and physical levels. None of these results come from logical thinking or technical skill. They are a direct result of belief and what the subconscious allows.
What many people find disturbing is when a practitioner has a simple faith so effective that all the conventions of protocol have no meaning. There are those individuals who feel comfortable in a religion or spiritual philosophy only so long as it does not have a practical influence in daily living. The practitioner needs to be careful so that others are not frightened.
You may be only a rookie, but if you have signed on to be a member of Team Light, then you will constantly discover and rediscover the meaning of Light transcending the physical.
6. What would be an example of Divine Intervention?
Let’s get back to the basic purpose behind DI. It is a tool by which your Guardian Angel gets you to understand the universe at a more expansive level. The Guardian Angel’s job is not to protect you from physical danger or harm. Her job is to supervise and encourage your wisdom, empathy, and personal power. She views your physical body as a flimsy, short-lasting reflection of your Astral Body. She has seen you manifest and discard many incarnations of physical bodies. Having perfect empathy herself, she does not enjoy any suffering that you may experience in life, but she knows that all pain is self-generated. She will use any means necessary to get you to move up to the next phase of spiritual development. Sometimes she needs to wake you up by calling on an Awakener Angel to make your aura vulnerable/porous. When you are touched by an Awakener Angel, it’s a big ouch. It’s a lot more fun for her to use DI.
When a person’s credo allows Divine Intervention to change the course of daily events for the purpose of illumination, great things can happen whether that person is aware of them or not. Sometimes what seems to be an inconvenient delay in schedule can bring you together with special people that you would not otherwise meet.
Case in point would be my experience with a flat tire the other day. Normally, you would view this event to be a bad thing. What happened to me was really extraordinary. It awakened me to the network of love that surrounds me constantly. My husband (helper #1) had bought me an air pump, so I hooked the thing up to the tire in question and got it going. Who should pull over in front of me but the mother (helper #2) of one of my music students. Usually when I see her, she is at the end of a long hot day. She is embroiled in telephone calls and family arrangements. We don’t interact at a very personal level although she is always good natured. Suddenly I saw how beautiful she was inside and out, and how precious her spirit was. This wonderful person was standing in front of me and making sure that I was all right. Wow. I released her from worry and continued to get that tire up, but it was slow going, because the hole was pretty big, although I didn’t know that yet. This allowed opportunity for Cal—a long-time friend—(helper #3) to pull over in front of me. Now this flat happened on the Del Dios Highway. This is not in my neighborhood. I had no right to expect meeting anyone I know on this road. Plus, Cal lives and works on the opposite end of the county . What are the odds of that? My mind was completely blown. He patiently waited for me to finish inflating the tire and followed me home to make sure that I would be okay (it would be another twenty minutes until he would get to his own home). Then I realized that I would have to change the tire, so I put if off as long as I possibly could. My husband (helper #1) was out of town but called me three times to check on my status. When the time demanded, I trekked out to my vehicle and started work. Enter Tonette (helper #4), the daughter of one of my elderly neighbors. She made a potentially annoying job fun and interesting as she helped me change the tire. She talked about her life and her mom’s life. I liked her before, but now I really hold her in high esteem. Thus a DI thumped into my day and brought me a feeling of great safety, support, and gratitude.
7. Can we really be physically rescued from danger if our faith is simple enough?
Of course. The point is that your faith is what makes it possible. If your belief is bulletproof, then any protection imaginable is going to be with you. In this regard, it is a wise pursuit to expand your list of possible miraculous safeguards and sanctuaries. I do not mean that you should be fearful and create a plan of defense and escape. I mean that your universe should include all sorts of amazing miracles, defenders, safe havens, and possibilities that give you success passage through life.
An amusing anecdote about Krishnamurti goes as follows. Krishna G was giving a lecture to an assembly at a California university. The students were blissed-out by the lofty philosophy and intellectual banter. This changed when a heckler stood up and asked the following question.
“What would you do if a crazed gunman got in his car right now, drove to this room, and shot you dead? What good would all your fancy talk and thinking do you then?”
The audience was shocked by the man’s anger, hate, violence of speech. What would the great teacher say?
Krishna G smiled slightly, and replied, “What if he never got here?”
This illustrates the consciousness that allows safety and peace into one’s reality.
