Dealing with Attacks:
Prevention, Recognition, and Remedy
Questions
1. Examine the circumstances of your last attack experience:
A. What reactions did you manifest in response to the attack?
B. What was your state of mind at the moment of the attack? What activities were you involved in?
C. What warning signs did you ignore before the situation gathered energy and achieved apex?
2. Affirmation Exercise: after repeating each affirmation, write down your physical responses, your atomic perceptions, and your astral feelings.
A: There is no war in Divine Mind. I deny all situations involved in conflict or competition. From now on, I perceive and revere the Christ Self in every person, and I only allow interactions with this aspect of myself and others.
B: (visualizing a cleansing and freedom from karmic connection with the subject) Three times three,
Three times three,
It bounces off me
And returns to thee.
C: Innocent and uncontested,
Defended and protected,
Under Grace, in perfect ways.
3. Conflict can be a way for the subconscious mind to sidetrack the conscious mind from success on all levels. What are the conditions of the Astral Body that give rise to these situations?
The subconscious mind is part of the Astral Body. It controls the greater part of our physical experience. It is merely carrying out the programming of the belief system that a person maintains. If your personal myth is “Things go wrong just when I need them to be right,” your careful plans of order will have very little effect on your life experience.
In the Astral World, negative paradigms appear as dark cloudy spots around the head. Emotional wounds can look like bleeding wounds or holes in the aura. Certain elementals (basic energy beings that live on emotional energy) hang around the person to feed on one’s habitual feelings.
4. What measures can we take to prevent future attacks?
Cleaning the aura daily is very beneficial.
Most importantly, there are 6 elements of attack. All six must be in play for attacks to take place.
1) You are physically tired at the time of the attack.
2) Your energies and attention are scattered by responsibilities, concerns, people, and stress.
3) Your atoms are not pointed upward to receive Divine Light.
4) You are not focused on your success.
5) You have recently been engaged in negative or critical thinking.
6) At the moment of the attack, your guard is down, your body is relaxed, and your chakras are receptive.
5. Exercise: Castor Oil for many uses. Castor oil can be used for external healing, internal cleansing, and also for divination. This viscous oil can kill bacteria and draw poisons out of specific areas of the body.
Edgar Cayce recorded a comprehensive system for using Castor Oil in healing. It is toxic to the body and so is generally used as a laxative. Externally, however, it really is magical. Use wool felt for compresses. Cold oil draws toxins and growths out of the body. Hot oil relaxes the muscles and disperses abnormal growths. As a lotion it prevents rashes and is used in baby ointments.
6. Why and how does this medium work? What would be the most appropriate use of this substance?
Etherically, its color is violet. Its viscosity, when cold, draws toxins into itself. It also acts as a barrier to bacteria and prevents infection. Heated, the minerals and resins in the oil go out into the body and do its therapeutic work. Wool is best for applying compresses, as wool sends both subconscious and conscious messages to the body of comfort and maternal nurturing. Castor oil has no smell, but is very messy.
7. Draw or describe one of your helpers.
Same dealeeo. Meditate on the hundreds of teachers, guides, and loved ones who are always holding you in their thoughts. Now pick one and write down or draw a remembrance of that energy--color, image, symbol, music, or fragrance.
The Attraction and Repulsion of Negative Energy
Three elements are necessary to create a negative environment.
1. A Scorpionic or critical stream of thought.
2. Expectation (whether conscious or repressed) of failure.
3. Neglect of meditative practices and Light work.
The balance of energy from negative to positive can shift with small provocation. A short, daily ritual of Light work (as long as it retains meaning and enthusiasm) can often mean the difference between success and obstruction. No matter how brief, no matter how unimaginative, any such exercise is far preferable to nothing (or rather its replacement of scattered thoughts and spiraling energy). The very act of persistence in this matter encourages spurts of spiritual development in the Astral Body.
You take vitamins to offset the damage caused by pollutants and bad nutrition. You can call these spiritual vitamins (affirmations, blessings, short meditative rituals of low expenditure) to offset the damage caused by the emotional environment and neglectful mental practices—lack of meditation, prayer, visualization, and attunement. Vitamins of a nutritional or spiritual nature will not support the bodies by themselves. However, they sustain the bodies in between feasts of nourishment through the rigors of daily activity.
Take part now in the direction and protection of your life’s purpose.
•Refuse to indulge in entertainment that insinuates feelings of fear, isolation, or pointlessness.
•Create a home that has a peaceful rhythm. Include an altar dedicated to remembrance of those who reach down to encourage and aid us.
•Refuse to entertain feelings of anger (pain & aggression), superiority (territory & exercise of power), or denigration (fight, low self-esteem projected onto others). Whenever these hormonal responses arise, invoke an affirmation to make conscious the antidote and the condition of healing.
•You are not expected to be perfect in this discipline, but you are expected to be sincere and to make persistent effort.
