The Fourth Degree of Initiation:

From Intern to Adept:

Walkabout for World Redemption

Lecture based Questions:

1. Draw or describe one of your helpers.

Out of the hundreds of helpers—guides, teachers, and loved ones—who help you on a daily basis, pick one and record a perfume, color, symbol, or message from this special ally.

2. Who are some famous Forth Degree Initiates (4DIs)?

Some of them are: Padre Pio, Amiel, Pythagoras, Paracelsus, Abraham Lincoln, le Compte du Ste. Germaine, Joan of Arc, Galileo, Potawi Amaru, Gandhi, Sai Baba, Socrates, the incorruptible saints, and Leonardo da Vinci. 4DIs rarely take on teaching or leading positions during incarnation, as their quest for personal discipline is a private journey. Hence, the list is short and will probably remain so.

3. What is the single most important requirement after this initiation?

After the 4DI takes place, the initiate embarks on a completely different type of journey. Instead of self-sacrifice and service to a mission, the next few hundred lifetimes will be set aside for personal development and learning.

The completion of warrior path is the most important. The training for the warrior’s way begins (usually) long before this point, but after the 4DI, the disciple has to learn the complete experience of watchfulness, impeccable behavior, capability, and integrity.

After this comes the mastery of perfect discipline. When we say discipline, we do not mean self-abuse. Instead, this is an effortless attitude of balance, correctness, and appropriateness. Disciplines in all areas of human experience are required. This means perfecting all martial arts, yoga, arts, sciences, skills, languages, meditations, and athletics.

4. What types of missions do 4DIs take on during and in between lifetimes?

They always have to act as transformers. They take on intense learning, but prove themselves as examples to others. They always have a contingent of students in the Halls of Learning, which exist in the higher Mental Realms, but also have satellite branches in the higher Astral Realms. Not frequently, they may take on a protégée or two during a physical incarnation.

They only take on missions when there is a dire shortage of workers for a given circumstance. For the most part, the 4DI is collecting personal power, learning the skills needed for the 5DI, and mastering the principles of discipline.

Beware of 4DIs who are in the public eye [where they don’t belong]. 4DIs are not perfect yet. They have skills that seem magical to other people. The temptation to show off is immense, and the temptation to stray from the Path of Light under such circumstances is beyond our imagination. Imagine seeing your government make bad choices, and then imagine that you have the knowledge and power to change the circumstances. These are types of choices that 4DIs must face every day. It takes connection with Divine Wisdom to allow the world to go its own way.

True power is having it but not using it to interfere. This is the lesson every 4DI must learn.

5. Are there specific 4DIs that we can call on to help us in certain areas of work or need?

Every career or skill has a sponsoring brotherhood of 4DIs. Such an organization gives it energy and innovative ideas. If you are needing guidance in your work, call on them. They work from the Mental World level. Their Mental Bodies converse with your Mental Bodies. You will know that this has happened because you will start getting ideas that solve your problems.

6. How many 4DIs are in our humanity at this time?

The number increases all the time. There are generally not more than 5% of the total population at this time in or out of incarnation. You can see that the percentage of 4DIs is very small. Your chances of meeting one are fairly slim, especially since they live reclusive lives and mostly hang out in Tibet.

7. Menton Wave Exercise: Calling or Summoning

Usually, one can do this most easily alone in a quiet environment. However, a group of people engaged in this activity can amplify the energies for someone who has trouble focusing the mind to the required sharpness. This technique is good for moving physical objects, contacting people, and finding lost items or pets.

The danger is in trying to manipulate something to suite your expectations. Be very wary of your motives when doing such an exercise. Be certain that you only use Divine Energy and not your own (to prevent mistakes and tampering). We must all master this technique by the time we have achieved the Fourth Degree of Initiation.

• Choose your object of summoning. Check your body to be certain that this is a wise choice and that you are not caught in a will-force cycle.

• Say, “May I only be led to act in accordance with the Divine Plan.”

• Cleanse and harmonize the chakras and the Kundalini.

• Thank your Guardian Angel for guiding you properly through this experience.

• Visualize the golden waterfall at the top of your head filling you with Divine Energy. As you breathe in, you fill with Divine Energy. As you breathe out, this Divine Energy is conducted through you and out (usually through the Golden Flower or through your hands).

• Focusing your thoughts on the object, you leave behind all dialogue of self, all knowledge of your physical environment, all worries and plans.

• Breathing from the diaphragm, inhale naturally.

• Exhale slowly, pushing upward with the muscles below your navel. Extrude the energy through the heart chakra to the object.

• You may mentally say the name of the object, but this is not necessary. What is necessary is that you engage visual contact with the object—either physically or mentally.

• Repeat breathing in Divine Energy, exhaling through the heart chakra while pushing up from below the navel, and sending the extruded energy to the object. Continue until you feel a response, then you may stop the exercise.

• You have already created a situation. Now wait patiently for the physical manifestation. The results can be immediate or take as long as a few weeks.

Taking up the Cross

The Third Degree Initiate experience a series of lifetimes dedicated to serving humanity, the ecosystem, and animal life. Simultaneously, she/he also accumulates the personal power and experiences needed for the next major spiritual transition—the Fourth Degree of Initiation. Understanding and skill increases. One’s efforts become more effective. Spiritual reward increases. The trainee possesses many gifts to share with the world. Many lifetimes of service and teaching pass to achieve this. The 3DI administers to people in need of guidance, physical comfort, healing, and hope.

The initiation of the 4DI candidate is threefold, and each initiatory phase contains another six sub-enlightenments. It takes an equal amount of energy to traverse the distance from the Third Degree to the Fourth Degree of initiation as it did from Level Zero to the Third. We can learn any of the following lessons before this training time. The souls of some Rays find certain types of skill and strength at different junctures of development. You could say that this list is the required course program for the Bachelors degree in the University of Earth Mastery. Students may have already completed some of the courses coming into the program, but all requirements must be met for the degree to be awarded.

A. The Bitter Cup of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:39, Mark 14:36, Luke 22:42) The first sub-initiation could be called the Gateway of Human Understanding. The lessons are many and worthwhile. This first work resides in the experiences of isolation, betrayal, and persecution—the meat and potatoes of understanding the territorial brain in all animal life. This knowledge is an asset as our scope of responsibility increases to include clans of undifferentiated souls. One gains skills in dealing with younger personalities. Eventually, the initiate becomes savvy enough to let the mechanical responses of the human animal work in one’s favor instead of against one. Faith becomes an effective tool during this process. The clairvoyant faculties are in constant use.

A1. Isolation. Spiritual helpers and supervisors constantly guide the 3DI. At the same time, people needing help are plentiful. The 3DI has no peers in his or her social circle. At this point in humanity’s evolution, 3DIs are rare and cannot share their duties with equals. Even the soul mate rarely has equal development, at this juncture, and may also need help.

A2. Defiance. The more physical activity the 3DI exerts in service, the more opposition he/she will attract. Here one learns the dynamics of taking the path of least resistance. One discovers that the art of invisibility (physical and emotional) enables a person to work with few obstructions.

A3. Competitors. Always there are spiritual children who wish to fluff up their sense of worth by challenging the 3DI teacher with parallel enterprises. The teacher learns to encourage and nurture this behavior, for the student has embarked on a journey of responsibility.

A4. Nonsupport. “Could none of you men keep watch with me for a short hour?” asked Jesus as he waited in the Garden of Gethsemane surrounded by sleeping disciples (Matthew 26:40). During crises and peril, the solitary worker slogs out the days of labor. There is no physical encouragement from one’s loved ones or environment. Here the initiate gains strength and resolve while completing his/her mission alone.

A5. Inattention. Most of the time, a teacher addresses the mental and astral bodies of the students. No sign of student physical brain response is the usual reward for the teacher’s efforts. Here the initiate learns patience as she or he repeats information in a lively and interesting manner.

A6. Betrayal. Most often, the students who have been the closest with a teacher will turn on the mentor with anger. This occurs in the student process with cognitive dissonance. The teacher learns to appreciate the situation for what it is. He/she feels grateful for liberation from the student. She/he also values the personal power generated through the experience.

B. Stigmata Miracles occur in the midst of physical upheaval. One possesses adequate insight and inner peace to master the storms of worldly experience. The initiate is going through a triple experience—

•paying off world karma

•learning to affect the nuances of instinctive behavior

•gaining freedom through the disciplines of metaphysical and spiritual knowledge.

B1. Persecution. Social and political conditions can make life difficult for the disciple. Personal attack can also be a consistent threat. The 4DI candidate musters up the ability to triumph in a hostile emotional environment, which often lasts for a lifetime. Eventually, one learns to command his/her life events through affirmations and meditation.

B2. Condemnation. The majority of humanity lives in an aura of fear. People will often attack someone who lives beyond the restrictions of physical nature. The candidate learns to live unobtrusively. Work becomes it’s own satisfaction. The 3DI no longer expects recognition.

B3. Abandonment. This type of experience is very potent as an adventure. It affords insight into emotional bonding, loyalty, and emotional stability. The 3DI learns to depend on non-physical helpers. She/he also learns to command healthy relationship through affirmations.

B4. Revealer of Others. People of low ethics may find their actions exposed when they target the 4DI candidate. Someone who tries to victimize a 3DI will experience an indirect backlash. The initiate might not defend himself. Yet, the universe picks a time and place for the offender to be exposed, penalized, and enlightened. The 4DI candidate gets the distinct impression that she/he is a magnet for this type of interaction. Those who need transformation are attracted to him/her in order to set this series of events in motion.

B5. Misrepresentation. False accusations and being a scapegoat are experiences brought to the initiate. This helps to redeem world karma in a big way [although bigger ways are still ahead]. The 4DI candidate learns how to avoid such situations, but then has the luxury of toying with such settings. She/he volunteers for karmic duty and will become a sacrifice for a worthy cause. Now, world karma is a term that is not exactly accurate. The planet has no karma, and humanity in general doesn’t have a group karma. Karma is always individual. However, this sacrifice does raise the general Astral consciousness. It generates lots of good chi!

B6. Defamation. The first layers of pride peel away as the aspirant becomes the target of muckrakers and hate mongers. With full knowledge of past lifetimes, the initiate puts off the decorations of his achievements and experiences the spectrum of public opinion. More and more, the candidate learns to appreciate a quiet life.

C. Crucifixion The last requirements for the Fourth Degree of Initiation will transform the candidate, the witnesses, and the perpetrators. A sense of perspective takes seat within the consciousness of one who learns to handle suffering without retribution. The suffering of all living beings is uplifted somewhat through the voluntary suffering of the Crowned Ones.

C1. Torture. This can be through illness, injury, or attack. Suffering creates a matrix of strength and endurance. Not only do these experiences uplift mankind’s energy, but immense personal power invests the sainted initiate.

C2. Burdening. Many responsibilities come to the now-capable initiate. Several students and spiritual dependents are assigned to be nurtured and guided. This occurs while the 3DI is training for even greater responsibilities.

C3. Deprivation. Experiencing conditions of loss and physical lack bring the candidate in line with the easiness of life at a simple level. One also comes to feel motivated to manifest whatever is needed in a timely and conscientious manner.

C4. Insult. Enduring the hostile vituperations of unconscious people is something familiar to all of us. Enduring them with good humor, peacefulness, and responding with love and blessing—that is something remarkable to a human condition. One learns the value of such victory as it builds even greater personal power while neutralizing world negativity.

C5. Humiliation. The mistakes that one makes at this level of spiritual power come back to haunt one immediately. The initiate cannot hide or camouflage any weakness or error. The society will constantly be on the back of the candidate. One’s only recourse is to monitor behavior and question the outcome of one’s actions.

C6. Martyrdom. At the end, a physical sacrifice is volunteered. This can take either of two forms; one’s death may awaken the public to an important issue, or one may dedicate his or her corpse to religious interest. [Incorruptibles, or, relic corpses fit this category.] Martyrdom creates a network of consciousness between the initiate and many students. This type of relationship is long lasting and very beneficial to both parties.

Let us imagine that you have accomplished all of the above events and victories. Compared to a First Degree Initiate, your soul body is exceedingly bright, strong, and powerful. Many lifetimes (personally and vicariously experienced) have brought understanding, knowledge, and wisdom. The moment becomes primed for the major initiation of the fourth degree. Once again, all of your peers gather their attentions around you, as well as all the angels connected to your education. Your teachers and elder loved ones also accompany you. [Younger souls may not attend such a moment, for the Initiation process disintegrates all lower vibratory bodies.] The Christ Presence is witness (as always). Then the Initiatory Angel begins the rite of passage. What appears to be a cloud of brightness envelops the candidate. A new pattern of energy changes the soul body itself. After the transformation is complete, the soul looks more defined and focused. The Sphere of Perfected Destiny is nearly in phase with the aura.

Activity in the fifth dimension is also profound. One’s (parallel or superior) friends may accompany the event with much merriment. A moment of rapture overtakes the mental consciousness, aligning it with the soul frequency. Colors of dedication enrobe the Mental Body. These may or may not have expression in the color spectrum of the physical dimension. The clarity of such a disciplined mind is a pleasure to look upon. Each thought is concise, beautifully formed, and brought forth with speed and craftsmanship.

The Fourth Degree of Initiation takes place between incarnations. There is no Astral Body to feel involvement at the occasion. Thereafter, however, during incarnations the Astral Bodies that the 4DI manifests are formidable and beautiful.

There is no physical body to endure such a discharge of power. It would not survive such an instant anyway. Hereafter, all physical bodies of the initiate’s use enjoy extremely long lives and good health.

The tide has turned and the 4DI now looks toward completion of the human experience. The work is now focused on perfect balance of all strengths and virtues. Mastery over the energies governing life and death as we know it will soon be part of the initiate’s repertoire.

All the blessings of the universe,

And I float among them.

Am I the recipient of their gifts

Or am I part of the benediction?

The truth is here:

Not in between such questions

But encompassing them.
