Congrats to A & B Teams at state! Seeded 7 and 12 going into the tournament, we finished 6th & 8th, both better than our seeding. Well done!
We will be playing Thursdays 3:30 to dark at Park Village Park through the winter. This will not be structured practice - just some pickup games for fun and practice. But come and keep improving - we want to take down Timpview & Jordan in the spring. Regular practices will resume in February. Spring season starts in March.
Saturday morning conditioning 8-9:30 will continue thru the winter at Park Village park.
The winter 3000 challenge starts now. You have until Mar 1 to throw 3000 throws. For those who have completed 3000 throw challenges in the past, start practicing some new throws! Low release, high release, IO, OI, dishies, etc, or add a little more distance on your throws this time around. The winter challenge is the toughest because of the limited amount of daylight, but I would like to see all of you accept the challenge. Throws in practice / pickup count. A few of you have not received your reward for the fall 3000. I'll have the prize basket on Thursdays, so come get your goods.
We have some great photos from state. Check them out on our facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/chhsultimate/ . Request to join if you are not yet a member.
Pickup Tuesday at Southwood Park (6150s 725e) . Lunchtime pickup at Riverside park and Saturday pickup at Sugarhouse will go through the winter. Other pickup games will keep going until hi temps get down under about 45 degrees - as long as there are ppl to play.
My kids and I are going to play some frisbee at Park Village Park today at 4 if anyone else is interested.
