2021 Summer Ultimate

I hope y'all are excited to play a TON of ultimate this summer.

I will be playing a lot of lunchtime pickup - mainly at S Jordan bc it's closest, so if anyone wants to ride with me you are welcome to join me!

Utah Summer Games Ultimate Tournament
-Jun 25-26, Friday-Saturday, Cedar City

-USAU membership not required

-Bingham girl's coach has signed up both a mixed team and a men's team and is looking for players! I will be going to the tournament. I've been asked to play on a different men's team, but would be happy to offer a ride or help you find accommodations in Cedar City (I usually stay at the KOA campground bc it's closest to the fields and it's cheapest - it has showers and a pool).

-Please let me know ASAP if you are interested in playing so I can help you get on a team. Would love to see you guys down there.

Youth Summer 4's
-4v4 summer league! 2 guys, 2 girls!

-Games every Thursday evening Jul 8 - Aug 26 @ Equestrian Park and/or Riverside Park.

-Because it's mixed, we need girls!! Girls, hopefully some of you can play so we can field a team!

-U20 & U15 divisions - so if you don't turn 20 before Dec 31, you are eligible!

-Please try to self-organize. Get your team together now! Unlike the SLCo league below, I have not seen individual sign-ups for this event. You register & pay individually, but you need to already have a team when you register.

SLCo Summer League
-Age 16+ This is the SLCo Adult Rec League:

-Games Thursdays 6-9 @ SLCo Ice Center Fields, 5201s 150e, Murray.

-July 1 - Aug 12. Must register no later than Jun 23.
-$25 / player (includes your team T-shirt).

-Sign up individually, and each participant will be placed on a team that they will play with for the season.

-If there are players who get bumped from the 4v4 league because the team is full, this is a GREAT alternative. I suspect that we'll have a number of boys who can't play summer 4's simply because we don't have enough girls. Play SLCo summer league instead!

CH Summer Challenge
-Earn a disc or other swag simply by practicing! Choose A or B below (C can be done in addition to A or B):

A) Throw 3000 throws (new players & MS) or 5000 throws (returning HS players) by Aug 31 to earn your choice of swag, including discs, jerseys, field cones, gloves, etc. I've upped the requirement for returning players because I want to encourage returning players to choose B) below (practices will be more beneficial than throwing for you):
B) Log 25pts by Aug 31 to earn swag as well: Earn 1pt for each CH practice or clinic day in which you participate, and earn 1/2pt for each day of any other ultimate events in which you participate (pickup, league, USG, etc)
C) Special Challenge: Log 50pts by Aug 31 OR 10,000 throws by Nov 30 for a new pair of UA Lacrosse High-top cleats. I have 4 pair of new cleats to give away, men's sizes 11 & 11.5 (sorry if that's not your size - those were just the sizes I was able to come by). Need a pair of new cleats? Why not up your game and earn yourself a new pair of cleats for fall at the same time?!?

-Please track your own participation. Be honest - don't guess. You're on your honor.

CH Summer Clinic
-A full week of ultimate skills & drills in August!
