• Sa 3/19 6:30-10:30p (boys), 3/19 2-6p (girls) @ UofU Fieldhouse: SWARM Boot camp! (click here for all the details) Team, this is an awesome opportunity to learn from the best! It is open to any and all HS players (grades 9-12, beginner to advanced players). You will receive some high level instruction from Utah Swarm YCC* coaches, our Utah pro teams the Utah Wild and (new this year) the Utah Shred. Please come and participate! The fee is $45, but that is a recommended fee to help UUDA pay for the fieldhouse rental, etc. They don't want anyone to miss this opportunity because of cost, so they're asking you to pay if you can, but if you can't, come anyway! Let's start a thread on groupme to carpool to this event. If some of you are planning to try out for Swarm (I hope you are), this boot camp is a chance to get to know the YCC* coaches & other players throughout the state.

• We 3/23 Game day! D1: 5:30p @ SLCo Equestrian, D2: 4:15p @ Doxey Elem. Let's use groupme to ensure that everyone has a ride to the game! Awesome games last week, both teams went 1-1, and we were competitive in the losses against really good teams. Not a bad start to the season.

• Sa 3/26 Youthaw 3v3 tournament @ Legacy Event Center, Farmington. Do you have your team together? We're only 1 week away. This is a tournament where we will not participate as Copper Hills teams, it's up to you to get some teams together (4-6 players) and register your team ASAP! Only $60/team. • * What is YCC/swarm? Each year Utah holds tryouts for the "Swarm" a Utah youth all-star team that trains during the summer to participate in the Youth Club Championships in August, usually in Minnesota. This is the national youth ultimate tournament, so it's a big deal. Last year Katrina from our CH team (she's now graduated) travelled with the Swarm girl's team to MN and was an important part of their success! Our Utah teams brought some great recognition to the state. The girls finished 3rd (#3 in the country!), the boys U20 team finished #2, and our boys U17 team finished #1 in their division! I hope that some of you will want to take part in that and at least try out for the team. Just going to tryouts for events like this make you a better player.
