Teams
Eligibility for spring season is by grade (HS = grades 9-12, MS = grades 5-8). This is different from fall season, but the same as previous years.
HS: Currently, Copper Hills has only registered a high school team. Girls also please sign up to play on the boys team. We are in the Competition division, division 1, which is 7v7.
Girls will also be eligible to play in several girls only 3v3 tournaments this season, like we did last season. You can sign up for the tournament as an idividual or as a team. Individuals will be placed on a team.
Middle school players & parents: Please let me know your interest level in playing spring season. We have only 6 MS eligible players because 5 members of our fall MS team are in 9th grade and have advanced to HS level. We really need at least 10 players signed up (MS is 5v5 this season) to field a team. If you sign up, and you want to play, you will play. We will find additional players or I will find you a team.

Hey All:
Welcome to the Utah High School and Middle School Spring League. This season has several great events. In order to participate in these events each player will need to be rostered on to your team with USAU. We have been working closely with USAU to make this process easier.
This year, to roster your team the easiest way, fill out the attached Roster Excel Form. We will work with USAU to upload your Roster.
All PLAYERS will need:
USAU Membership
Girls and DI Boys will need a Full Youth USAU Membership ($40)
DII and Middle School will need a Youth Affiliate Membership ($17).
Coaches can pay for players on their team after the roster is confirmed with USAU or you can have each player pay for their own membership.
For those who may not be able to afford the USAU Membership this year due to COVID or other financial issues, they can apply for a Fee Waiver through this link: http://bit.ly/USAUPayForward
To fill out the USAU Waiver and Infectious Disease Waiver either on USAU under their Player Profile or by following this link: http://bit.ly/UUDAYouthReg.
Each TEAM will need:
Medical Authorization forms for each player under 18.
At least 2 USAU cleared Chaperones
One CDP Certified Coach for each Girls and DI Boys Teams (cannot be the same person for multiple teams)
There are Virtual Certifications through USAU; but space is limited. https://play.usaultimate.org/events/tournament/?ViewAll=false&IsLeagueType=false&IsClinic=true&FilterByCategory=AE
We may have some In-Person Clinics in a couple of months depending on COVID Restrictions. Detail to come if those open up.
If you need help navigating the USAU site to set up Chaperones and/or Coaches; please let me know.
Each TEAM/COACH, for each EVENT will need to:
Follow the UUDA event link and register your team. It will be easiest for the coach or team manager to collect the fees from each player and then pay UUDA once for each event.
If you DO NOT decide to pay for the whole team, each player will have to create an account and pay individually.

Awesome Vanilla Fundraiser
Over the past few months, Apollo Streams has been helping various organizations throughout the country conducting successful fundraising projects. Close to home they helped the Westlake Marching Band conduct a Mexican Vanilla fundraiser where they sold $60,000 worth of vanilla! Westlake said that was by far their best fundraiser ever!
This season UUDA would LOVE to help YOUR team out in two ways:
Let each team, regardless of size, participate in the same successful Mexican Vanilla fundraiser. Teams sell 1-liter bottles for $24.99. This vanilla is imported directly from Mexico, is not found in stores and saves individuals a lot of money (same price as Costco- twice the amount). Plus, it tastes AMAZING too! Players/teams will make $8 for each bottle they sell.
Have you seen how Lone Peak records and streams their games live on social media? YOU CAN TOO!
Your team just has to sell a minimum of 3 cases of vanilla (36 bottles) and you’ll get:
A free live streaming kit
A carbon fiber tripod
Yearly subscription to the Apollo Streams app for live streaming. This will allow your team to broadcast the games live for anyone to watch. Take that COVID!
Getting started is super easy! Just go to www.ApolloStreams.com
Click the Start Now button along the top of the site. Choose the FREE Fundraiser option to create your account.
Once signed up, they will email you flyers and social media graphics for your fundraiser. These will be customized with your team names so you can launch a successful fundraiser of your own!
Let’s strengthen our programs, increase the visibility of Ultimate in Utah and take our sport to the next level. Organizations like UltiWorld are keeping a close eye on what we’re doing. We may receive national attention from many sources if we make this season a success during this Covid challenge. It’s an exciting time to be a part of Ultimate in Utah! Let’s do this!
