Lone Peak Invitational Tournament is this Friday & Saturday! Here are the tournament details:
Location: SLCo Equestrian Park, 11400s 2100w (for us)
Game times for LPI this weekend are 4 & 5:45p Fri and 9,10:45,1,2:45 Sat
Please arrive 45 minutes early to the tournament to prepare and warm up.
Let's meet at PVP 2:45p Friday and at 7:45a Saturday to carpool.
For everyone else: No practice this Friday & Saturday. :)

We are excited about the tournament next weekend! Please read all of the following info carefully--no skimming! We especially hope that our visiting teams from Colorado and Oregon have a great experience playing ultimate in Utah.

The seeding is based off of my best guess. If you feel anything should be changed let me know. In Boys Div 3 it doesn't really matter since every team plays every other team anyway.
Note that the games on Saturday for Boys Div 1 and Girls Division start early at 8:00 am. This is to accommodate all of the teams, some of which have a long way to travel Saturday night.
FIELD SITES
Boys Div 1 and the Girls Division are at Legacy Events Center in Farmington. All fields will have painted lines.

TOURNAMENT PACKET
This will be sent out soon but here are a few details. All games are to 13. Five minutes for halftimes. Hardcap at 75 minutes. No soft cap. One timeout per half plus one floater. Each location has real bathrooms on site. There is a longer break between the 2nd and 3rd games on Saturday to allow teams to get lunch.
MERCHANDISE
We don't have official merchandise this year (next year we will!) but I think it would be so cool if every team that has extra discs to sell brought them to the tournament. I love getting discs from different teams and I know others do as well. We would sell them for $10 and then give all of the money back to the team that provided the disc. Anything else would be awesome as well--jerseys, headbands, stickers, etc. Let me know if you can bring some of your team swag and we'll make it happen--again with 100% of the money going to the contributing teams.
USAU Ultimate Requirements ****************SUPER IMPORTANT****************
Each team needs to have a completed event roster for the tournament. DO NOT add players to the event roster that haven't paid for their youth membership and aren't playing. Please make sure this is complete as soon as possible. Our insurance requires it and USAU takes it very seriously. I've attached a few images that may be helpful. If you have any more questions about getting it done please send me a message and I'll guide you through it.

Liz Swalberg is the main organizer behind the scenes. She does a huge amount and not many know about it. She'll be at the Legacy Events Center. If you are having a great time at the tournament be sure to find her and say thanks!
