Ultimate every weekday 1pm at Park Village Park over winter break. A player will send a reminder before each game. This is an awesome chance to get in some great practice, burn some holiday calories, and have some fun over Christmas break. I hope we'll have a game every day!
Here is a schedule with the player responsible for sending out the text each day.
Spring 2017 Schedule & Fees (Tentative)
12/1-12/31/2016: USAU 2017 early registration ($29.50 by 12/31, $34.50 thereafter). All HS & MS players.
1/10: Coaches Meeting.
Jan 2017: Team fees due to UUDA. $475 Boys A Team, $375 Boys B Team, $475 Girls A, assuming prices do not change from 2016. Coach pays this fee from team budget.
2/4,7,8,9: Spring Tryouts at Park Village Park. Encouraged to attend all days; required to attend at least 1 day.
2/16: CH Player fee due. $10 by 2/16, $15 thereafter - pay to coach. All HS & MS players. Last year the fee was $35. We are able to drop the fee thanks to a generous contribution from a sponsor, Lashbrook, Inc.
3/1: Official Start of Spring Season.
May 2017: State tournaments and end of spring season.
Groupme: We are trying out the groupme app to communicate with the team. The advantage of groupme is that many players already use it, but more importantly, it more easily allows players to send a message to the entire group. Remind allows only the teacher/coach to easily create a new post whereas groupme makes it equally easy for all participants to start a message thread. It also allows us to create more specific groups (ie a girls team group and a middle school team group).
