Fall End-of-Season Youth Classic Tournament
Nov 4-5, Legacy Events Center fields, Farmington. Big thanks to everyone who has taken care registration. Only 3 of you still need to complete registration: Briggs, Brayden M, Bryson. Please get it done ASAP!!!
Games for both teams start at 12 noon. Please be there at least 30 mins early to warm up, stretch, and prepare. Weather on Friday will be cold!!! Forecasted highs in the low 40s. Prepare accordingly: compression pants, long-sleeves, gloves, etc, so you don't freeze. Saturday will be only slightly warmer, but with a chance of rain. Again, come prepared for wet weather as well. Please post a message on groupme if you need a ride!
We need a parent or family member from each team to volunteer to help with the tournament. The tournament can't run without volunteers. The work is simple - setup or teardown fields, ensure that trash is picked up and cans are emptied when full, or staff the tournament central tent (2 hour shifts). Please lmk if you are able to help out.
Captains meetings Fri 11:30 and Sat 8:45a. Join the tournament groupme here for tournament info and score reporting!

Practices:
We will have 1 more practice this season, Wed, Nov 2 @ 4:30p @ PVP. See you there!
Uniforms have arrived!
Thank you Amber Anderson for organizing the order. To get your uniform, please make arrangements with Quinn or his Mom or send a message on groupme.
Because the mixed team is the more experienced team, more is expected from players on that team in terms of effort and work ethic, mainly by being at practice consistently. One day / week at practice is not enough. Open players need to be at practice too! Game minutes will be determined in large part by how much time you spend at practice!

Fall 3000 Challenge
Throw 3000 throws by Nov 5 to pick a disc or other swag from the swag box and more importantly, become a GREAT thrower quickly! For an added bonus, throw 10,000 throws over 2 seasons to get a new pair of UA lacrosse cleats (sorry, I only have men's sizes 10.5-11.5)
At least 1 person has let me know they completed the fall 3000 challenge and will be receiving a disc or their choice of swag. Nice work Nick! If anyone else has thrown 3000 throws during the season, let me know!
Halloween Hat Tournament
This Saturday, Oct 29, 9a @ SLCo Equestrian Park
This is a community event. It is not a team event. Show up in your Halloween costume and teams will be chosen at random (from a "hat"). The tournament usually goes until early afternoon
I would encourage everyone to participate in the Halloween Hat rather than attend practice Saturday. I think you will get more out of the hat tournament. But, if ther are still enough who want to have practice Saturday, we can have a practice.
