Self Portrait

The subject of my image is me. The setting is in my aunt's living room. I chose to create this specific image because I wanted to show two different emotions. Composition rules of this photo are informal balance and selective focus. This photo evolved by me bringing two photos to photoshop, cropping them together, which isn't a strong part of my image as you can see, and turning it black and white. The story behind this image is to show two emotions, happy and sad. I combined them the best I could and made it black and white so it'd set kind of a sad mood to it. This relates to my life because I feel these two emotions all the time. If I could change one thing about this image it would be the cropping part because it was so hard to try and crop these together.
