The subject of this image is a book. This setting is in the light room. I chose to create this specific image to show the importance and impact that books have on people in this world. Composition rules of this photo is informal balance. Informal balance is because the book is not centered. My project evolved by me playing with the lighting and shadows of it, and then turning it black and white. The story behind this image is to show the importance of books. It shows how books are made, and destroyed. This connects to my life because when I get new things, I care for them, and then when I get sick of it, it gets destroyed. If I could change one thing about this image it would be the quality of the photo.

Title: Rain or shine?

The subject of this image is an umbrella and the setting is in the light room. This image was made by putting the tip of an umbrella up to a light and taking the photo. I chose to create this image because I thought it was very unique and people don't do it much or even for that matter, see it. Composition rules of this photo are Informal balance, and rule of thirds. Informal balance comes in because the main focus of this is not centered and rule of thirds comes in because 2/3 of the photo is taken and the rest is pretty much blank space. My project evolved by me just cropping it. The meaning behind this image is to show the importance of an umbrella and light. The story is that when it's sunny you don't need anything but sunglasses and when it's rainy you need an umbrella. This image was made to show the importance of small things. This relates to my life because I take for granted the small things I have. And I shouldn't, it's a blessing to have those things and so this is why I created this. If I could change one thing it would be nothing because I love this image how it is.
