Artist Statement: For this project we had to create a shoe out of wire. I chose to do my sandal because I thought it would be kind of simple but challenging at the same time and I wanted to create the chain on my shoe as well. Some things that I struggled with was getting the wire to go the way I wanted it to and making it form into actually looking like a shoe. Something that went well with this project is probably only making my name with wire because I don't think I did that great of a job with this. The story behind the shoe is to show challenges I faced. It was hard to make and somethings in my life are hard to do and I think that compares well. If I could change one thing about this project it would be I would redo everything because I don't like how it came out at all.
