WhatchamaDRAWiT

For this project the goal was to take a "Whatchamadrawit" prompt and bring it to life. My prompt was "a llama wearing fancy pajamas going to pick flowers in his garden". I really loved this prompt. To begin I drew a llama. At first I didn't know what to do for fancy pajamas but then I thought about the brand Chanel. Something that's really popular in fashion right now is logos or band names on the butt. I decided to do this and then put the logo on the top of the pajamas. I used a fine point marker. I also added a Chanel hat on top because I thought that would be even more over the top. After drawing my llama, I put flowers in the llama's mouth because how else would a llama pick flowers? After that, I started on the background. At first I struggled but then I added grass and mountains. I also used colored brush pens to create texture. I wanted the drawing to look like a sketch. Overall I am happy with my project, I like the use of color and texture.
