Beautiful Oops

For my beautiful oops drawing I chose to recreate the globe. When I got my piece of paper I had no idea what to do but used watercolor to create a splattering affect. I then got more ink to had more “oops”. I then decided on using newspaper to shape into the seven continents. I chose newspaper as it added texture. I then used red sharpie to write “make your mark” relating to the thick ink blots on the paper. On the map I marked a heart in Maine and another in Vietnam to mark my journey. If I were to do this project again I would add contrast as the piece appears bland although highlights the ink blobs.
