Process for getting your Florida (FL) Real Estate License

*Please note that florida does not have reciprocity with MA.  They do have reciprocity with CT, but only if you got your CT license via exam (not via reciprocity)

Prelicensing

You can use this school to do your prelicensing

• Here is our direct affiliate link for Real Estate Express pre-licensing (QE). Please note that FL requires 63 hours of prelicensing and 45 hours of post license classes.

During your prelicensing period you should also do the 4 steps below:

1. Call 850-487-1395 and tell them to send you 3 fingerprint cards that you need for your out of state florida license

2. Once you get the cards you can use this company’s springfield, MA location to have your fingerprints done https://www.identogo.com/

3. Send them back and wait a few days before proceeding to step 4. 

4. Go to Myfloridalicense.com (go here and apply for license prior to completing prelicensing)

Do steps 1-4 All simultaneous to taking the course.

Once 1-4 are done and you complete the prelicensing course (including passing the 100 question test) then you can sit for the state exam.
