1. Request Email: You will receive an email from DepositLink. Click the purple button that says, “Connect your client(s) for payment now”.
2. Connect Your Buyer(s): A new screen will appear, at the bottom of the screen click the purple “ + buyer” button. You can connect multiple buyers and split the deposit if you need to. Once the first buyer is connected, you will be taken back to this screen to connect your other buyer(s). Make sure you equally distribute the amount of the deposit between the buyers. (For example, if two people are making a $1OOO deposit together, request the exact amount from each buyer separately. When you fill out each buyer's details make sure to request $5OO from both buyers separately.)
3. Add in Deposit amount: Select EMD destination, if you do not see the destination where the deposit should be sent you will need to select “another recipient” and input the listing agent's information so they (or someone on their finance team) can connect to their escrow account. Hit “Save and Continue”
4. Add Buyer then select "Save and send request"
5. Review and Send: Once you have entered in the buyer(s) and the amounts each will be paying you will see a review of the payment(s) on the screen. Review the information one last and click “save and send request(s) at the bottom right. A final window will pop up making sure you want to request the deposits,
6. Press “Save and Request."
1. Request Email: You will receive an email from DepositLink. Click the purple button that says,
”Pay this request now".
2. Verify Your Identity: Fill in your details (name, phone number, current address) to verify your identity. Click, “Agree and Verify identity”.
3. Verified: A screen will pop up saying you have been verified, click “Next Step".
4. Connect Account: Click “Connect Cccount”. Follow the prompts to connect your bank account you will be using for this transaction. This can be done via banking login in your account and routing number.
5. Send Deposit: Once your account has been connected, the final step is pressing “Send my $XXX.XX deposit now“.
6. Confirm and Finalize Payment: A final window will pop up for you to review your transaction details one last time. This window will also show that you will be charged a $12 processing fee to send the payment through ACH. Click, “Yes, send my payment”.
7. Transaction History: You will be taken to a new page that shows your transaction history in DepositLink. Find the deal you just sent a payment for and hit “View”.
>> PRINT/SAVE PDF RECEIPT: When the transaction opens, in the right hand corner you will see an option to download the PDF receipt. You can open this document and print/download it to keep on file as the receipt for the transaction. <<
