The role of the mentor is to help guide our new agents through their first 3 transactions and build the foundation for a successful real estate career. The mentor is in charge of overseeing the new agent's progress online training and answering any questions that may come up for that agent during the initial 3 transaction period.
-Conduct an initial 1hr overview session with the agent to walk through our core systems and procedures. During that session the mentor will also go through our online training platform and ensure the agent understands the agency disclosure documents in case the agent has an interaction with a potential client.
-Set up 2 additional meetings of 30 minutes each in 2 week intervals after the initial meeting to make sure the agent starts off on a productive path.
-After these first 3 meetings have been completed, the mentor will be responsible for the following:
Bi-weekly email check in with the agent to see if they need help with anything in particular.
Respond in a timely manner to emails, calls and texts from the agent about ongoing business.
Review of all offers the agent submits prior to reaching their completed 3 transactions.
Overview of all listings taken by the new agent, from start to finish. This would include attendance of listing presentations if necessary.
- Participate - It is your responsibility to show up for the mentor meetings, company meetings and group training. You are also responsible for completing the assigned modules in Rovi University.
- Prepare - Prepare for the meetings by taking training and coming with questions.
- Track - Track your progress through the Rovi U as well as your daily activities.
- Plan - Make sure you take advantage of our daily schedule samples and plan your day to best utilize your time
- Communicate - Please do not ever hesitate to reach out to your Mentor. We encourage asking questions so you can grow.
Agents on the 70/30 split - All agents on a 70/30 split plan are required to use a mentor for their first 3 lifetime closed deals. The agent will owe a mentor fee of 10% at closing.The mentee will be paid 60% on these transactions
80/20 split - All agents on an 80/20 split plan are required to use a mentor for their first 3 lifetime closed deals. The agent will owe a mentor fee of 20% at closing. The mentee will be paid 60% on these transactions
Mentor’s compensation is 10% of the Gross Commission Income for the Mentee’s side of their first 3 closed transactions
