My 11th grade Honors History class traveled to Saint Francis University November 16th to conduct research for our National History Day projects. We were able to use the university’s resources, work with librarians, discuss topics with professors and students and experience what college research may be like. We toured the University and had lunch as well as a discussion with students and staff involved in the honors program at the university.
As for my personal experience, I used the trip to SFU to research for my NHD project. I can't say I actually benefited from using their resources, but it did give me ample working time to begin development on my website. The actual trip centered more around the tour of the campus.
I personally do not plan on attending SFU, but they have a nice campus. Don't love the mission bells.
