Q: How are you liking Northern Cambria so far?
A: So far I love it here. Students and co-workers have been great.
Q: Where did you used to work before Northern?
A: I’ve worked several places before here: I just came from Blacklick Valley Jr/Sr High, but have worked at Bishop Guilfoyle and Franklin City High School (in Virginia).
Q: Who are the teachers you talk to the most?
A: So far I talk to Mrs. Chunko, Mrs. Koenigsberg, Mrs. Micco, and Ms. Mastrine.
Q: What's your favorite thing about this school so far?
A: Asking the hard questions after a week……I like how everyone seems connected here. Maybe to different things or groups, but you still all feel like in the end, you are one school.
Q: Why did you decide to pursue a profession in math?
A: In high school, I always liked math class and knew I didn’t want to sit behind a desk all day doing accounting or what not, so I thought teaching was my best option. I love teaching something I love to other people.
Q: Where did you attend college?
A: For my Bachelor’s degree I went to the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. I got my Master’s Degree from Slippery Rock University.

Q: How are you liking Northern Cambria High school so far?
A: "I love it!"
Q: Do you have a favorite coworker? If so who is it?
A: "I can't answer that."
Q: What is your favorite class to teach this year?
A: "Chorus!"
Q: What are some goals you have for this school year?
A: "My goals? I want my kids to feel valued and wanted in my chorus, and have more confidence."
Mr. Landi-
Q: Can you tell me a little about yourself?
A: "Well I grew up not too far from here in Loretto and have lived in PA all my life."
Q: What made you want to become a teacher?
A: "I wanted to become a teacher because I enjoy helping people and being a teacher is one of the most important jobs here."
Q: What made you decide to work here at NC?
A: "I decided to work here at NC because the students here made me want to stay after last year."
Q: What class or classes are you currently teaching and what do you do in that class?
A: "Currently I am teaching Physical Science and we do a lot of labs dealing with physics."
Q: How would you help a student who is struggling in your class?
A: "If a student is struggling in my class I will try to sit down one on one with them to help them understand the tough concepts."
Q: What do you expect from your students when they first walk in?
A: "When students walk into my class I expect them to sit down and get ready to learn."
Q: Lastly, how are you liking NC so far?
A: "Being here at NC has been a blast so far, it is definitely an interesting challenge learning a new position!"
Mr. Pajak-

Q: Why did you decide to apply for this position?
A: I applied for this position when my Principal at the time thought I would be good at the time. I love being involved with sports as much as possible, and this is the perfect job for that.
Q: Do you prefer the high school or middle school building?
A: Both buildings are great places to work. I will miss the middle school and the staff, and students there, but the High School is a wonderful place to be.
Q: Do you miss any of your middle school colleagues?
A: I got my start at NC in the Middle School, so I will miss working with the great staff in the building.
Q: What is one thing you would change about your new job?
A: I would like to be home before 10pm on sports nights.
Q: Do you prefer having your own office or your own classroom?
A: I miss the classroom and the environment in which it presents. My office is air conditioned though, which is nice!
Q: Do you miss teaching?
A: I will always be a History Teacher at heart. I will still continue to read and learn the greatest subject ever, History!
