Favorite Seasons

I sent out a survey to all grades and teachers about their favorite season. I asked questions like what is your favorite season, why is that your favorite season, what do you like about this season, and what is your favorite thing to do during this season. I asked them to rate the seasons on a scale from 1 to 10. I got 46 responses to this survey.The students’ most favorite season was Fall with a 56.5%, the second favorite season was Summer with a 19.6%, the third favorite season was Winter with a 15.2%, and lastly the least favorite season was Spring with a 8.7%. For the second question, the majority of the students said that they liked their favorite season because of the weather, flowers, leaves, and snow.The majority of the students said that their favorite thing to do during their favorite season is hunt, watch movies with their families, go to a corn maze, play football, swim, and snowboard. For the last question, students were supposed to rate the season on a scale from 1 to 10. Nineteen students rated Fall a 10, three students rated Spring a 10, three students rated Winter a 10,and lastly twelve students rated Summer a 10.

From the results we can infer that the majority of the students’ favorite season is Fall. Students might like this season because of the weather: it is not too hot and not too cold. The least favorite season was Spring, and students that liked Spring might have liked it because of the flowers and the warm weather. So Fall is Northern Cambria’s favorite season by 56.5%.
