No Exit is a 2022 horror movie about a girl named Darby who breaks out of rehab and is on her way to see her sick mother, but on her way to the hospital, she ends up getting stuck with a group of people. Darby is stuck at the top of a mountain rest stop in a blizzard storm with a small group of people when everything takes a turn for the worst, and they find out about a kidnapped child in a car who belongs to one of the people inside the rest stop. This leaves the group in a life or death situation as they try to find out who the kidnapper is and try to make it out alive. Damien Power, the director of the film, made the movie from the novel No Exit, which is written by Taylor Adams. The movie is 1h 35m long and takes place in New Zealand. Damien said it took him and his crew 40 days just to film the movie he also added a comment on how hard it was to make the movie look real. His exact words were, “the challenge of the set was to make it look real and keep it visually interesting.” In my opinion No Exit was a really good horror movie, there were some points in the movie where I was really on edge to know how they were going to find out who the kidnapper was and how they were going to get out of that situation plus they had to save the kid as well. Everyone was on edge because they don’t know who or if their friend is actually innocent or if their friend is the one who kidnapped the child. There was a lot of suspense which made the movie really good. There were some good twists and turns to the movie which made it more likable to me. I would recommend this movie to anyone who would be interested in these types of movies.
