Northern Cambria's Favorite Music

I conducted a survey asking 50 people of Northern Cambria about their favorite music genre, and out of those people, 14 of them chose country, 8 of them chose rock, 1 of them chose 80's/70's, 4 said indie, 3 said rap, 1 said alternative, 2 said metal, 1 said grunge, 2 said rhythm and blues, 2 said said 90/2000's, 1 said gospel and 1 said theatre. Overall 28% said country, 16% said pop or rock, 8% said indie, 6% said rap, 4% said hip hop, metal, or rhythm & blues and 14% said some other genre.

From these results, we can infer that the most liked genre is country followed by pop and rock. Country may be the most prominent because of where we live. Studies show that Pennsylvania has a larger appeal to country than other states. It tends to tell the everyday stories of suburban lives like ours. In conclusion, Country is Northern Cambria's favorite music genre by 28%.
